Chet Porter is by far one of the most unpredictable producers on the rise. No boost – every time I press play on a Chet Porter track I have no idea what to expect. This one steps away from the traditional “build and drop” formula dominating EDM airwaves worldwide. It starts off in an epic fashion and continues beautifully into another world. The vocals are utilized perfectly. You can’t classify this and that’s what I love about this remix and Chet Porter’s productions. It’s a free download and I highly recommend adding this to your iTunes playlist. Don’t believe me? Press play.

Mexico producer That’s Nice shares a new original single “Holiday,” featuring Josh Moriarty of Miami Horror. The past has seen That’s Nice remix the Australian band’s single “Colours In The Sky” and connect over their musical similarities. “Holiday” is a track brimming with horns, an undeniably catchy chorus, and the sounds of summertime.

The boys over at Wet Paint are back. Canada’s finest funkmaster’s return with another fresh treat, this time remixing Jhené Aiko’s ‘Spotless Mind’. Wet Paint usually embrace a futuristic bassline and integrated jazz-friendly instruments to craft what I believe is their signature sound. This time they’ve established a completely new atmosphere. Music by the group breaks entry into various grounds – clubs, major events, even your car stereo. This clever flip perfectly utilizes vocal chops and adds RnB flavour. Support this free download.

Coleman Hell won Monday for me, this original record “2 Heads” is a hit waiting to blow up, and you’ll be hooked by the first line: “there must be something in the water…” I’ve always been a fan of country meets electronic music, on that Avicii’s “Wake Me Up” vibe, except Coleman Hell channels his inner Joe Cocker for soul purposes, and you will feel it! Shit, this record makes me want to grab somebody, and spin them around, it’s guaranteed fun, and it’s a must listen!

2014 was a huge year for Chicago born rapper and FNT regular Mayo and it appears 2015 is going to be no different. In a genre overcrowded with artists  jumping on sampled beats and recycling hooks from yesterday, Mayo has constantly provided extremely original music and unique, yet epic, collaborations. In his latest collab, Mayo teamed up with Australian DJ/Producer Akouo and Indie artist Monsoonsiren. In this extremely unique collab the trio successfully creates a sound that truly brings aspects of their respected genres to life.

Here in the ‘Great White North’ (that’s Canada incase you missed it) the snow has started to melt and as we transition back into a much better state of reality (sorry, but I really… really, hate snow) we could all use some guidance by Klingande. This tune is classic Klingande: good vibes and tropical sounds mixed with sexy deep house bass lines that take us on lengthy feel-trip. Lay back and lets your problems go as Klingande will surely carry you away.
