Posted by VMan on August 28, 2022
Feloneye is a Berlin-based rapper and singer on the come up who actively fuses together hip-hop, pop and trap. Feloneye sings with an instinctive feel for melodic hooks and imbues his work with his pulsating energy, as can be heard on brand-new release “Rockstar”. The recently released track is a collaboration with King Staccz and also comes with a dope visual. Check out a quote on the single below and watch their music video for “Rockstar” above now!
“My inspiration on this track is an example of my life – like I’m a rockstar but I don‘t want to grow up. Been traveling all around the world living that life. I was in the studio with producer THEPLUGPABLO, and he opened up the sample that was orchestrated by rizzo8, who is an RIAA Platinum sample maker. We were really feeling the vibe so THEPLUGPABLO and me came up with the melody, then I wrote the hook, laid down the verse, and he was like, ‘Yo my mate Staccz in New York would sound crazy on this one.’ That’s how the feature came into existence. Upon coming to New York, we went crazy shooting the video – it’s a whole movie. Staccz gave us the whole New York experience!”

Albums | Washington DC based artist Kris Kollins Releases “SIDE FX”
Posted by VMan on August 25, 2022
Washington DC has a low key music scene that isn’t as booming as LA or the NYC market but that doesn’t mean there is no good music coming out of their city. Kris Kollins is making some really cool music that deserves your attention, especially his latest drop “SIDE FX.” The recently released alt-pop single is a romantically charged song that is a great introduction to his music if you are not yet familar. Tune in above now and read a quote from him on the release after the jump!
“It’s the feeling of being so infatuated with someone it feels like an addiction. You’re not yourself, but you feel lifted. Love and infatuation is pretty much a drug trip, and this song is about that….it’s a feeling that scares me, but I desire.” – Kris Kollins

Albums | BARRON Taps Into Porter Robinson & Odesza’s Lane on “Feel Love”
Posted by VMan on August 21, 2022
BARRON is shaping up to be one of my favorite up-and-comers on the rise. The Nashville, TN based talent is clearly influenced by the likes of Porter Robinson, Odesza and other producers in that space who create emotionally evoking electronica and he is on to something here with this project, specifically this new track “Feel Love”. It’s well worth diving in to, so do yourself a favor and keep a tab on this dude. Check out “Feel Love” by BARRON above now and read a quote from him on the release below!
‘Feel Love’ is a unique track for me in that it’s more upbeat and dance-able than my previous releases. It could definitely be classified as a house track which is a genre I don’t normally write, but I enjoyed the experience of meshing my more euphoric/melodic sound with a style that you would normally hear at a night out at a bar or club. It definitely opened up a world to me that I plan to revisit again in the future.” – BARRON
Albums | Late Night Therapy Releases Eclectic House single, “Spinning”
Posted by VMan on August 21, 2022
Late Night Therapy is a new project from Australian artist Harry Suttor, who is making a unique blend of electronic music with progressive House elements. If you’re a fan of RUFUS DU SOL, Claptone, and other artists who used sounds within the House space, you will likely be a fan of Late Night Therapy. It’s pretty early on in his career with only 3 releases under his belt, but his new track “Spinning” may just be his best piece of work to date. The song was written during a time of deep introspection after coming out of a long-term relationship. Check out a quote on the single by the rising Aussie talent below now and stream “Spinning” by Late Night Therapy above now!
“I was coming out of a long-term relationship and had decided to take a couple month soff work to go back to my childhood home, a small village near Yamba NSW, where I could slow down and get back to focusing on music for awhile. It turned into a time of deep introspection, looking where I wanted to take my life next. It was also a time of reaffirmed gratitude and appreciation for what music creation brings into my life and the realization that I needed to once again heed the call and make music a priority. ‘Spinning’ is the first of a handful of tracks to come from that time. It’s about the spiraling thoughts that come alongside periods of rapid growth and change. This was also the first time in my musical journey I felt ready to not only produce and mix, but also master my own music. I’ve always had the ambition to learn every aspect of the musical process and it’s finally starting to pay off. I’m starting to make the music I’ve always wanted to. Completely my own vision.” – Late Night Therapy
Albums | Aguava Unveils 5 track self-titled EP
Posted by VMan on August 18, 2022
Aguava is the vision of producer Allen Chen. The upcoming China-born, US-bred musician draws on a wide range of influences ranging from afrobeats and bossa nova to disco and 90s house, he seeks to blend these genres into forward thinking retro grooves and does exactly that. His new self-titled 5-track-EP is a cohesive mixture of feel-good vibes that is a great introduction to his music! Check out a quote from Aguava on his unique approach to production below and stream his gorgeous new EP above right now!
“I recorded a bunch of common kitchen items; pots, pans, cutting boards, pepper shakers, wine openers. It wasn’t until later that I added the strings, which provided the inspiration for the name of the track. The sound and shape of these strings reminded me of some kind of wind; one that weaved and meandered across vast distances. ‘Sirocco’ is the name of a Mediterranean wind that blows from North Africa to southern Europe, but to me it felt like the perfect embodiment of these strings and this song; travelling far distances and bypassing all sorts of incredible sights and sounds on that journey.”
