I’ve got only one principle when it comes to music, anything unique goes right to the front of the line, which is very few considering the many. It’s clear to me, electro music needs a transformation from the generic state it’s heading in. Lately, I’m hearing one continuous track with new bells and whistles, on rare occasions I notice the track has changed. Likely the reason for this, creation has no motivation. You can’t put energy into being unique, if you could its been done already. There is no formula to being the first at originating something new. Tesla, the man who created the modern world said ”I did not invent, I discovered what was there to find.”.
A young man began a correspondence with Mozart, and the following was said:
Q: “Herr Mozart, I am thinking of writing symphonies. Can you give me any suggestions as to how to get started.”
A: “A symphony is a very complex musical form, perhaps you should begin with some simple lieder and work your way up to a symphony.”
Q: “But Herr Mozart, you were writing symphonies when you were 8 years old.”
A: “But I never asked anybody how.”
I’d say, artists that rarely get inspired are the ones most adored. I’ve personally grown so dependant on artists to produce for me, so purely a consumer of music, expecting my fix, judging them because I’ve lost all my own creative abilities to make a difference.

I’ve been playing the ripped version of this track for way too long now, finally the cdq arrives right when I thought it never would. Triumphant trance, what more can I say.
Albums, Indie | Tycho – A Walk

Scott Hansen, better known as Tycho is back with his new LP Dive. Definitely one of his many projects that take place in my hierarchy of chill records. A calm refreshment that floats me through time on a dreamy elevation, feels like being freshly dried by the sun. Tycho’s music deserves a better world than ours, not to mention his use of braille in the top right corner of this LP for the blind is genius. If you like what you hear, buy everything Tycho here.

Indie | W8’s Indie Pack #1

Indie is the essence of a daydream, floating in the bluest water ever seen on a white sand powdered beach, staring up at stars shining in darkness, thinking there’s no place I’d rather be than in my imagination dreaming about this. My passion for an indie record sedates and humbles me, likely for you a genre yet to be discovered in all its inherent beauty. I’ve compiled over 1200 indie tracks this year alone and it only made sense to compress the gems out of my collection and share 15, some aren’t that new but have sympathy, for most they are. If you like the post, let it be known and they’ll continue.
