Moombahton | Moombah Mondays
Posted by Sev on May 1, 2012
Decided it was time to bring the Moombah Monday girls back, enough of the videos. First up we have something from one of the best in producing Moombahton. His production quality is second to none when it comes to this genre as we saw in his massive collab with Heartbreak entitled PIMPIN. Glad to see JWLS dropping some new material and you can DL the track through SCION AV provided on his Soundcloud.
Diplo being the boss he is, dropped another freebie for the fans through Major Lazer. Looks like Moombahton finally got to him, because this is about the third time we have seen his name on a Moombah production in the past month. He has also been incorporating Moombahton remixes more, and more into his sets. Either way, pretty dope collaboration with ETC!ETC! including a little island feel that Diplo always brings to the table.
You know you want to…….
Drum & Bass | DnB Saturday 2nd Edition
Posted by Sev on April 28, 2012
Let me start off by saying sorry for being a day late again with our DnB Friday post, but yesterday I was consumed all day by Nocturnal Wonderland in Texas. Bass music is on a whole other level these days and I’m still trying to recover from all the great shows yesterday. Monstercat media’s recent Dnb post is one of the most amazing DnB tracks. This track by Feint & Boyinaband is something out of this world. Its futuristic fast paced drum & bass including Veela’s vocals give off the best of vibes. This track just puts me in another state of mind so be sure to grab this track from the guys over at Monstercat Media. Next up is my current favorite DnB duo right now, Tantrum Desire. Dropping some new material set to release May 27th on Technique Recordings. Their upbeat style of Dnb has yet to wear off on me, and not to mention that awesome synth sound they use that you can’t miss.
Here something different from Rudimental giving us some heavy DnB with some old school styled vocals. The thing that caught me off guard was the saxaphone that comes in later on, but for some reason it is appealing. Pre-order this one, or wait for the release on May 28th.
Really looking forward to the release of this EP on Monday by J Majik & Wickaman. All these tracks have that heavy Noisia style of Dnb that are most appealing when it comes to Dnb for me. Check out this tracks in anticipation for the release this Monday.
Now for the free tunes!
Electro-House, Moombahton | D!RTY AUD!O and Milo & Otis
Posted by Sev on April 27, 2012

Two late night bangers to kick start the weekend for most people. First up is D!RTY AUD!O bringing us something out of the ordinary Moombah banger we usually see from him. A new exotic Afrojack styled Electro-House collaboration track with Nicolas Strand that is sure to get the crowds dancing. Endless amounts of undiscovered talent out there and you can add Milo & Otis to that list. Sampling off of Justice in their latest up-beat, Moombahton styled original mix that is just asking to be rinsed out during this festival season. These guys are oozing out tracks every week like it is second nature to them. Keep up with both of these artist by liking their facebook pages provided below.
Dubstep | Skrillex & Damian Marley – Make It Bun Dem (Poisound Remix)
Posted by Sev on April 26, 2012
Poisound already destroying this remix before the single is even released. Highly known for his crazy, spastic Internet Friends remix, this one tops it for me. How can you say no to some 110 BPM goodness especially with some reggae vibes from Damian Marley. I can see Skrill dropping this one once he gets a chance to listen to it; big ups to Poisound. RUDEBOY BASS!
Electro-House, Moombahton | Alvin Risk — Infinity EP
Posted by Sev on April 25, 2012
This new Alvin Risk EP contained a different side of Alvin we haven’t ever seen. I was sort of disappointed with this EP, not because he chose to do something different, but just because of the fact that some of the songs didn’t contain that appleaing Alvin Risk signature style that that fans have grown to love. I will admit though, I was a little disheartened when the we first got the EP track listing that his collaborations with Skrillex weren’t included. I should have seen if coming though being it does have Skrillex’s name on the track and all. With that being said, two out of the four tracks on here are pretty dope tracks. Survival has some of the most intricate combinations of laser synth sounds, alongside Sirah’s vocals. Same thing with Psychotic; bringing some crazy synth sounds along with an up-beat tempo. Infinity and Pray lacked the Alvin Risk esque style, which is why I wasn’t a fan of the tracks, nevertheless give each track a chance. You can grab the EP on Beatport HERE.

Albums, Drum & Bass, Dubstep, Electro-House, Progressive House | Seven Lions — Polarize EP
Posted by Sev on April 25, 2012
Has anyone heard a dissapointing Seven Lions track yet, because I haven’t. This EP has been on repeat for the past day few days since its release and I know Mach is on the same boat. What a great combination of genre’s in one EP and variation of sounds that just keep the listener coming back for more. I can’t get enough of Below Us and also the Dnb Remix by Smooth. Every track on this EP is truley unique and astonishing in its own way. I could go on all day talking about how amazing this tracks are, but I would rather let you guys enjoy them yourselves. You can grab a free track off the EP given away by Viper Recordings by clicking Read On. Grab this EP on Beatport HERE.

Progressive House, Review | Morgan Page — In The Air (2012) + Leave The Lights On (Morgan Page Remix)
Posted by Sev on April 24, 2012
Apologies on taking so long to post this great album from Morgan Page, but with such a high influx of music these past weeks it has been hard getting everything posted. But there was no way I wasn’t going give this progressive album a post, especially by such an underrated producer, in my perspective. We have seen two of the tracks released as singles before the album was released so we were given a good taste of what was to come, and he delivered. I can honestly say I favor each track on this album equally because they all provide the same euphoric feelings and mind set after listening to them. The progressions, basslines, melodies, and quality of production on all of these tracks is amazing. Top notch house music on this album and a definite recommendation for all House music fans. You can grab this album on Beatport HERE. After the jump is Morgan Page’s latest remix that is a little more electro feeling than what is seen on the album.
