Progressive House | Zedd ft. Hayley Williams – Stay The Night (Dave Winnel Godspeed Remix)
Posted by Middy on October 10, 2013
Australian Dave Winnel returns with a free remix of Zedd’s recent smash single “Stay The Night” that is starting to get people past “Clarity”. Dave Winnel flips the original for a clubbier, more stripped back drop, while adding a similar synth melody and keeping Hayley Williams’ vocals for good measure. The remix is free, so don’t hesistate to click download.

As a bonus, here is an added production from Dave Winnel on Michael Woods’ Diffused Music label alongside fellow Aussie Archie (no not the Archie that fell off the face of the Earth recently), that has received support from the likes of David Guetta & R3hab.

House, Indie | Gentlemen Hall – Sail Into The Sun (Lenno Remix)
Posted by Middy on October 9, 2013
Sleek, summer and soothing. These three words can sum up the indie-dance remix that Lenno just put on Gentleman Hall’s single “Sail Into The Sun. It has all of Lenno’s funky, disco stylistic abilities, with the indie sound of the original, that makes not only this a great remix, but the pairing of Lenno’s sound with indie rock perfect. This is a no-strings attached download, so you have no excuse not to get it.

Electro-House | Qulinez – Noise
Posted by Middy on October 9, 2013
Qulinez has been quiet lately, but with “Noise” they break that silence with authority. This is not the Qulinez we saw with “Troll” and following remixes that emulated that style. This is an in your face, heavy electro, dubstep crossover track that does not take any prisoners.

Progressive House | Kryder – Pyrmd
Posted by Middy on October 9, 2013
Kryder continues his hot label streak following his debut on Axtone Records with “Aphrodite“, now debuting a new single on Nicky Romero’s label Protocol Recordings in “Pyrmd”. It carries the same bouncy, groovy bass lines and melodic elements we expect from the Manchester producer / DJ with an edgier side that slots this perfectly onto the label, and making this one of his strongest productions to date.

Progressive House | Justin Timberlake – Blue Ocean Floor (Moiez Remix featuring Anoop Desai)
Posted by Middy on October 8, 2013
Moiez has been quiet lately, notably since we premiered his remix of “Reload“, but he is back to the remix front with his take on one of Justin Timberlake’s recent tracks from the “20/20 Experience Pt. 1”. Well, technically this is a cover of that track by Anoop Desai, and then Moiez remixed it, so remix squared. The Vancouver native takes the strengths of the original / cover and adds a soothing, trancey melody, much like some of his older works like “Flight”, which is now being repackaged into a “3LAU collab” and rereleased with Justin’s name on it.
Electro-House | Hardwell & MAKJ – Countdown
Posted by Middy on October 8, 2013
Hardwell has dominated 2013. It would be an upset if he did not win the DJ Mag popularity contest this year with his fanboys coming out in such force supporting him. His track with MAKJ “Countdown” probably should have been released for the North American festival season, since its minimal drops were perfect for the main stages that he seemed to live on, but alas the track that made its debut at UMF is here. Get ready for this to be quite popular this winter as this style of track seems to show no signs of slowing down.
