Are We Hunting return via “California Kurt Cobain”

One of the more interesting song titles I’ve read in a long while comes in through Are We Hunting, the moniker of Northern California based singer/songwriter, Ryan Ayala. After releasing his debut album in 2020, he is finally back with new music. Taking a cinematic approach to his craft, Ayala loves to write as the narrator of a script, and channels this energy into a lovely blend of indie and shoegaze, full of chorus drenched guitars and an ambient, full band sound. While this is the first piece of music I’ve heard by the upcoming artist, I plan to keep him on my radar as this piece of music is truly something special. Check it out above now!
