Chloë Wilson Releases ‘Broken Me,’ Beginning an Honest New Chapter

Posted by on July 13, 2025

Independent singer-songwriter Chloë Wilson will release her new single, Broken Me, on July 11, 2025. This track is the first single from her forthcoming debut project, expected later this year.

Written when she was 16 years old and developed over a six-year period, Broken Me addresses themes of unanswered questions and the emotional impact of a first heartbreak. The song underwent several revisions and recordings before reaching its final form.

The track features piano, the first instrument Wilson learned, and combines elements of 1970s ballad style with a modern sound. Influences from artists such as Adele, Tori Amos, and Stevie Nicks are evident, while Wilson’s lyrics offer a personal and clear narrative.

Born in Milton Keynes, Wilson’s musical background includes busking in London and performing across venues in northern England. Her early influences include Fleetwood Mac, Donna Summer, and Led Zeppelin.

Wilson describes Broken Me as her first fully personal songwriting statement, contrasting with earlier work where she used fictional characters to express emotions.

The single will be followed by additional releases leading up to Wilson’s debut EP, scheduled for release on October 24, 2025.
