RAMI SADAWI’s Debut EP NEVER HOME // MISS U Redefines the Blueprint for Modern Hip-Hop

Swedish producer, artist, and sonic architect RAMI SADAWI plants his flag with NEVER HOME // MISS U, a debut EP that’s equal parts confessional journal, analog grit, and forward-thinking sonic design. Dropping May 30, the project is a seismic first statement from a name that underground heads and industry tastemakers alike will soon know well.
At the heart of the project is the standout track “Flying”—a hypnotic, sample-driven ride through ambition, addiction, and the emotional toll of life in overdrive. There’s a rawness here that’s impossible to ignore. SADAWI builds the beat on minimal, dusty loops and thick basslines, letting tension simmer while a razor-sharp emcee delivers bars that cut deep. The cadence and cadence recall the gravity of Mick Jenkins, the hustle of Freddie Gibbs, and the street poet clarity of Benny the Butcher. But make no mistake: this is not imitation. This is RAMI curating a sound that breathes its own atmosphere.
More than just a producer with a keen ear, SADAWI’s music carries a cinematic quality—each track feeling like a scene in a noir film set inside a smoke-filled basement club at 3AM. His analog-digital hybrid approach creates space for vulnerability to rise to the surface, and the result is a body of work that’s both meditative and propulsive. “Flying” isn’t just for the heads who live for bars—it’s a song for anyone navigating the chaos of modern life, where ambition is currency and burnout is the cost.
SADAWI isn’t new to heavyweights either. His résumé already includes credits alongside Grammy-winning and -nominated artists like Nisj, Mona Masrour, L1na, and a recent co-production with Mike Hector (Kendrick Lamar, Frank Ocean) and Malik Ninety Five (Playboi Carti, Doechii). If that wasn’t enough, he’s also connected with creative forces like Tommy Black (Snoh Aalegra, Kendrick Lamar) and EMIL (Doja Cat, Sampha)—proof that his sonic universe is expansive, yet deliberate.
NEVER HOME // MISS U is more than an introduction—it’s a manifesto. RAMI SADAWI is crafting soundscapes that challenge and inspire, rooted in hip-hop tradition but unafraid to leap into the unknown. With Flying leading the way, this EP cements SADAWI as a visionary force on the rise, turning minimalism into maximal impact.
