The Fur Releases Stunning Single “Forbidden Fruit”

‘Forbidden Fruit’ is The Fur’s third original single release. With tender, entrancing vocals from Julia Ross, this electro-pop bop is about the kind of love that hurts. We’ve all wanted something we couldn’t have, The Fur just gave us a reason to sing about it. Synth stabs pulse throughout the track, sitting on top of the EDM infused beat below. There’s an intricate intertwining of the electronic and the acoustic. Nicklas Thelin’s guitar line melts into the mix effortlessly, creating a funk that fuels the track forward. Julia Ross’ vocals are outstanding on this track. The smooth tones of her tender vocals juxtapose the effervescent energy of the soundscape below perfectly.
