Mokita’s “Colorblind” Has a Bright Message

Nashville based singer/songwriter Mokita’s new single “Colorblind” has a hint of the emo rock era in it, and I love that. On top of that major influence, there is still his electronic-meets-pop sound engulfed throughout the track and always makes fans come back to listen. The song’s context and lyricism is based around Mokita’s experience with depression growing up and how he is able to process and cope with it during good times and bad. Another beautiful ballad from Mokita in the books. I personally prefer these ballads compared to some of his more EDM styled tracks in the past, so hoping for more stuff in this realm come 2020.
