Swisher Sweets Artist Project has opened submissions for New Talent to apply to perform at a 2018 Pack Night. Swisher Sweets is seeking 3 artists native to each market to open for today’s hottest performers in: Los Angeles, Detroit, Philadelphia, Atlanta and Houston. The application period will close on March 6th, and 15 artists – three from each Pack Night city – that best meet the criteria will be chosen. Swisher’s new application process can be found here.
This is an opportunity that I’d jump on immediately.
The Swisher Sweets Artist Project is the first creative initiative designed to bring two industries together to create a unified cross-cultural relationship. One of the segments of the Artist Project is a nation-wide music showcase series featuring new, local talent opening for the biggest names in music. Swisher Sweets utilizes its resources to help promote and support new artists along in their careers. By providing a stage for performers, awarding grants and offering unique promotional opportunities, the Artist Project is a platform to help artists create, share and pursue their passion. The Swisher Sweets Artist Project’s 2017 Class included Kelechi, Gloria Prince, Kur, DaniLeigh, Tobi Lou and many more, with superstars Cardi B and Machine Gun Kelly serving as headliners at the end-of-the-year event in New Orleans.
