SXSW Announces Industry Panel: ‘How to Develop an Electronic Artist: Matoma’

With SXSW just a few days away, we thought we’d bring to your attention a noteworthy industry panel that discusses a topic most electronic music fans would be curious to learn about: ‘How to Develop an Electronic Artist: Matoma‘. Over the past couple years, Matoma’s online and live presence has skyrocketed. The tropical house artist has garnered hundreds of millions of plays on Spotify and is one of the most streamed artists in the world. He recently sold out Terminal 5 in New York with support from Two Friends and Aston Shuffle.
On this SXSW panel are Billboard’s Senior Dance Editor Matt Medved, Matoma’s agent Ferry Rais-Shaghaghi from APA, Tom (Matoma) himself and more. The panel will be taking place on March 16 from 5pm to 6pm. Moreover, Matoma has recently announced a “Matoma & Friends” official SXSW showcase at Kingdom on March 17 that will go on from 9pm to 2am.
