California-based Bad Royale has been on fire recently with their latest EP, Immutable Timeline, being released on Diplo’s Mad Decent record label. The quad crew made up of Maor, Elias, Kevin, and Bruce fuse together dancehall rhythms with trap and bass sounds to make for a refreshing and tropical-tinged take on bass music.

Bad Royale are all set to bring down the roof at Avalon’s Friday night CONTROL party tomorrow in Hollywood. Ahead of that, they put together this exclusive playlist for us, showcasing their wide range of influences and tastes. Everything from Dubstep and Drum n Bass to German metal, Hip-Hop and classic Blink 182 are included, so take a listen below to hear what Bad Royale has in store.

1. Rusko – Everyday (Netsky Remix)

This track marks the prime of the drum & bass genre holding the limelight in dance music.

2. M.I.A. – Bad Girls

M.I.A. is just the #1 bad ass female artist and this song is everything about her. Even with it being titled “Bad Girls” I still rock out to it while driving around. The music video is dope, too.

3. Rudimental – Feel The Love

Keeping the drum & bass alive, Rudimental created an instant classic with this one. The first time I heard it I had to know what it was, and that doesn’t happen often when new music comes out.

4. Rihanna feat. Drake – Work (Bad Royale Remix)

Have to throw in one of our own tracks here. We felt Rihanna’s Work needed a Caribbean dance vibe as a good throwback to her own roots.

5. Pendulum – Watercolour

Who doesn’t love Pendulum?

6. Rammstein – Du Hast

Yeah, this list is getting crazy. I don’t care who you are or what music you like, Du Hast gets you amped up for anything. You can’t listen to this song and not feel like a badass yourself.

7. Major Lazer feat. Wyclef Jean – Reach For The Stars (So Shifty Dub)

It was difficult to choose which Major Lazer track to include. I felt like anything from the new album hasn’t stood the test of time yet so I went back to a track I pull out from time to time. Have always enjoyed listened to Reach For The Stars while running around town.

8. Toto – Africa

I just couldn’t make a list without Toto’s Africa in it. This is one of the new classic tracks I can still listen to and won’t complain about it being overplayed.

9. Blink 182 – First Date

Middle school throwback. If you claim you didn’t listen to Blink 182 at some point, you’re a liar.

10. Jay Z – Public Service Announcement

I got to the end of this list and realize I hadn’t even tapped into the huge amount of amazing rap tracks. It was nearly impossible to narrow it down to just one, but Public Service Announcement has something special that gets me going. The beat and the flow have an energy that gets me pumped up and ready to take on the world.

11. 2 Unlimited – Get Ready For This

Duh.
