Sounding like it came from from some sort of retrolux time warp machine, Young Jedi, who I covered on a previous post (his production name is Ely Sounds), is releasing his first compilation of beats called ‘A1’. For those of you unfamiliar with Young Jedi, he’s been spending his time between Chicago and San Francisco over the last year and a half, articulating and perfecting his unique style. From the underground, urban-hippy music scene in SF to the flashy, embellished music style of the windy city, you can tell how the two worlds collided to create his music.
