Finally. After all those videos and releases the New York group, Upper West, finally drops off their newest mixtape, West Side Stories. The refreshing beats mixed with catchy hooks and dope verses make for one of my favorite tapes of the year. These dudes are oozing with talent and this is only the beginning for them. So when I posted that Dylan Owen EP I was talking about emotion through lyrics and how it makes a song so much more meaningful and relatable. Here we have an Upper West song that is exactly like that. Known for their upbeat jams, Jesse and Doug decide to switch it up on us and spit some truth. Upper West dropped some new visuals for their latest release off West Side Stories, which will be released in February. The Upper West guys recruit none other than Jon Kilmer for the video. Here’s a leak off Upper West’s next mixtape, West Side Stories. This beat is unreal, so happy and fun, then they throw in a good chorus, and finally some quality verses. Just as I was about to call it a night, I got this gem in my inbox. Rainfall featuring Sarah Solovay is Upper West’s newest single off the upcoming mixtape, West Side Stories and is definitely worth checking out. This track has the perfect blend of a powerful chorus, catchy production, and smooth verses.
