If you’re new to the whole Jersey club scene and are curious about why Nurse Joy and Officer Jenny, as well as confused as to what the phrase “Turtle on that booty” means, have no fear, it’s just who Trippy Turtle is. Voyaging away from the usual R&B remix, Trippy decides to give us his theme song, which is produced so cleanly and smooth. Along side the Pokemon characters, we see cameos made by Cashmere Cat, RiFF RAFF, Pink Panther, Booty Beaver, Drippy Dolphin, and more. A lot of weirdness in the video, but it works. At the beginning this song makes out to be just another twerk remix with claps on claps on claps… but once the synths kick in, this remix goes from twerking to trapping. Such a good collaboration of the two genres and use of the sample. Don’t get me wrong – I have a strong love for the original, but the way that TWRK has redone the edit, completely new way of listening to the song without getting bored!

Not too lyric heavy and just the right about of catchy trap beats to fill the void, this remix by NYC producer TWRK is pretty noteworthy to say the least. Great for DJ sets and underground parties.
