Jordy Dazz - Torpedo

Hysteria Records has been the label outlet for the Bingo Players and their madness inducing tracks, ranging from MAKJ’s “Springen”, to Henry Fong, Mike Hawkins & Pablo Oliveros “Jump”. The label has been a champion of the powerful, big room style at we have seen this year. Revealed Records favorite and Hysteria Records veteran, Jordy Dazz gives us a powerful electro track, that sounds like a race car accelerating and decelerating. Coming up, Jordy Dazz has productions with Bassjackers, Cash Cash and more, as his onslaught of heavy electro continues into the winter and 2014.

Producer / Dj duo Bassjackers have teamed up with hot in demand Revealed Records producer, Dyro, fresh off of his Canadian bus tour with Hardwell & Dannic on “Grid”. This melodic yet uptempo and grungy electro track is a unique melding of both big room and electro house that relies on the quick key play and a complex low end. “Grid” combines styles from both producers and gives us something in both of their discographies, where Dyro’s sound is something he can hang his hat on, but has become a little repetitive of late and Bassjackers has not had a really big single like this one in a while. Already supported by your pick of the top Djs, expect to hear this often over the next few months.

Progressive House | Joe Ghost – Are You Ready (Hardwell Rework)

Posted by on January 21, 2013

No stranger to edits and reworks, Hardwell takes this track from Canadian producer Joe Ghost and molds it into a release fit for his revered Revealed Recordings. As first premiered on Hardwell’s essential mix, we see Dutchman’s return to the production following the very successful “Apollo“. Hardwell’s work is very noticable with his hallmark synth present in both builds and while the snare is very similar to that of Yves V “Mandala“, its quick alternating pattern still remains a powerful weapon to be used in any set. With “The Code” set for release in 2 weeks, look for Revealed Records to have a strong start to 2013.

Revealed Records protégé, Dannic makes his debut on Mark Knight’s powerhouse label Toolroom Records with a genre blending record that has already seen support from the likes of Hardwell, Fedde Le Grand, Axwell, Mark Knight & more. “Clobber” brings together the styles of Toolroom Records and Dannic with a prominent and infectious bass line that you can’t help but dance to. Native to Breda, NL, Dannic shows his versatility in his productions not just putting out progressive & electro tracks, but this more clubby track that is sure to see huge success.

Progressive House | Hardwell feat. Amba Shepherd – Apollo

Hardwell gives us the follow up to “Spaceman” in a rare vocal track from the budding Dutch superstar. Fresh off of his incredible essential mix, he gives us “Apollo” as an ode to the city of Houston where this track was first created. With obvious influences from his time with Porter Robinson in the glitchy electro dispersed throughout, Hardwell delivers a superb melody, layered with Amba Shepherd’s ethereal vocals and emotive strings. I would have liked to maybe see a little more of the vocal from Amba Shepherd, but the track is still outstanding nonetheless.

Progressive House | Kill The Buzz – Party Hard

Kill The Buzz, Breda’s latest house producer following in the footsteps of Tiesto, Hardwell & Dannic has released his debut single on Revealed Records, “Party Hard”. As one of the sought after IDs from Hardwell’s Tomorowland set, “Party Hard” will get you to do just that. Kill The Buzz combines both a melodic top line with grinding saws over an alternating bass line to give it uplifting qualities, while still having the energy and power of an electro track.

Electro-House | Hardwell & Showtek – How We Do

Posted by on July 30, 2012

Showtek continues their move away from their traditional Hardstyle sound towards a more popular Electro House sound. Though this transition has been a couple years in the making, it has only been very publicly realized (they were part of Boys will be Boys with Anger Dimas & Tiesto) with their track “Hell Yeah” with Tiesto, an upcoming track with Bassjackers and today their massive track “How We Do” is unleashed upon the world. This is not a track that cannot be contained on computer speakers with its ear throbbing bass line, high energy synth chords and vocal bit that brings in the massive drop. Already a favorite of Arty, Tiesto, and many more, get ready to hear this as a peak time track during the rest of festival season, notably if you are seeing Hardwell at Electric Zoo.
