As his cover/remix series continues, Portland’s PropaneLv drops off some original content with “Hey Girl”. This collaboration with Hollywood based producer & engineer D.Shuts preludes a likely project from the two. Said Lv of the record:
To me, “Hey Girl” is about longing to be in a better place with someone who was once special to you. Not so much wanting to still be with them, but remaining hopeful that when you meet again things will be different and you will both be in a different place. “Hey Girl” is basically saying ‘I’m sorry this didn’t work, I wish you the best and I hope to see you again down the road.”… Whatever that means.

Portland’s PropaneLv dives into the electro pop world with the latest installment in his ongoing series of covers/remixes. Assisted by an instrumental rework from Chi Duly, Lv puts his own spin on the upcoming Avicii x Mike Posner single with desirable results. This cover is a welcome departure from his more frequent Hip Hop & RnB covers, which recently hit 1 million views on his YouTube channel.

Portland representer, PropaneLV, has been on fire lately. From being featured on WorldStarHipHop to Warren G reaching out to him after watching his videos, it’s safe to assume we’ve got another rising star on our hands. Directed by Esteelo Films and produced by Frank-DuX, Propane’s new “Cool Again” video showcases his propensity for rapping and singing with a cerebral track recorded in MaxiMedia studios in Dallas.
