Here’s a “medium-core” dubstep gem that features an enjoyable balance between the dope original vocals and the whomps most of us have grown to love. I still can’t stand super heavy dubstep so as of right now, nothing I post will make your ears bleed.

And since I love the original version of this song so much I decided to hunt around for an unconventional remix. It might take a few listens to get acclimated to this sound but if you’ve got an affinity for both mainstream hip-hop and dubstep this could be a worthwhile download. Give it an ear at the very least. PS Lil Wayne haters go listen to his verse in “Motivation” (linked). I’m siding with some of our fans on this one, Wayne’s talents haven’t been exhausted quite yet… (PPS. FML Mach already posted this one like 22 days ago…)

Gigamesh took the scene by storm with his 2009 remix of Mike Posner’s hit “Cooler Than Me”. Ironically, Gigamesh’s touch made it so much cooler than the original that it stole most airwaves. Although Gigamesh slipped out of the limelight, he’s still been producing some epic remixes like the two below (plus the previously posted bangers). Above are the visuals to the Choppa Choppa Down Remix. I’ve got to be honest, I’m not wild about this track – it lacks the catchy quality that most Rick Ross and Khalifa songs possess (especially their most recent mainstream projects). However, I rarely pass on the visuals to these artists tracks. Rick Ross doesn’t do much for me here (especially since he needs to upgrade his Florida house already in light of his massive success over the last year) but Khalifa seems to save the day here. I’ve thrown in some other HIp-Hop tracks below that Cstan missed (or most likely skipped) but since they include names like Meek Mill and Gorilla Zoe, I had to post them up.

Talk about some powerful visuals – bringing on the actor for Biggie was a huge move by Kinetics & One Love. I dug the song before since it reminded me of their hit Sign Language, but the video above just took things up a notch. More and more artists are recognizing the eargasmic power that can be released by remixing Ellie Goulding songs. Her angelic voice kills every hook and song. Now I thought it would be hard for anyone to follow up Bassnectar’s remix to this track (hop on that if you haven’t already), but I’ve got to hand it to Dave Edwards who did a filthy job making this electro version.
