After shaking up the summer hits with their collaboration “Portland,” Watermät and MOGUAI asked fans of the track to send in clips from the Oregon city to add them to the official music video. Starting out with clips of the majestic Pacific scenery, the music video flutters through the city at the POV of the fans that includes back flipping, zip lining, or more. In addition to the music video, there’s a remix competition that will be held for the track in honor of it being Spinnin’s 1000th release and the official release of the track today. More details will be available on MOGUAI’s socials soon. “Portland” is now out on Beatport.

Although the ID-marketing method Spinnin’ uses too many times has become predictable, a good majority of those tracks have gone on to be some of the biggest track’s in dance music. From “Animals” to “Tsunami” to “Shiver,” there seems to be a good omen on Spinnin’ build of anticipation and their latest plug, “Portland,” is sure to follow in the same suit. Claimed by French hitmaker Watermät and big room aficionado MOGUAI, the pair might have discovered a new genre with this one because it dabbles literally right between big room and deep house. With some sliced up vocals to break up the madness instigated by the wailing lead melody, “Portland” is a flurry of highs and lows that keeps your attention plastered to where it is headed for every second of the track. It’s release date is slated for August 14th.

Letter To The Industry Cover Art

3 million views after randomly deciding to do a remix to Justin Bieber’s “Boyfriend”, Portland’s own PropaneLv drops off a formal mixtape of some of the best remix efforts in hiphop in the last year. Taking the traditional mixtape route, Lv comes together with HipHopEarly’s official DJ, DJ Reddy Rell, to drop the project. With the YouTube remix/cover/rendition lane a popular one in today’s industry, it’s done exactly what it needed to for Lv: solidify his talent and draw attention to his potential. On that note, he is very adamant that his debut album will be an eye opener this fall.

Varsity Blues drops September 30th.

PropaneLv drops off his latest original release featuring Pen Stein. “On The Road” is the ballad of an up & comer with a melodic hook complimented by some screwed vocals working nicely for the Portlander. The visual by Martin Van Londen fits well and features great scenery of Portland’s bridges and waterfront. If you’re not familiar, PropaneLv has an ongoing cover series over on his YouTube and this original is available for download below.

Portland’s PropaneLv and frequent collaborator D.Shuts come together on this mellow and powerful ballad. “Nobody” takes a retrospective glance at the progression of the music hustle with a melodic hook that reiterates just that. Overall, another impressive release from Lv.
