Progressive House | Paris & Simo – Avon

Posted by on February 4, 2013

Canadian producers Paris & Simo follow up their remix of Fenech Solar “All I Know” with their first single of the year “Avon” on Harem Records. “Avon” shows hints of something we might see in like 2010 with the style of synths in the build and a drop with an outstanding melody layered with a grinding low end, thumping bass line and well time stops. Having proven that their win in the “Work Hard, Play Hard” remix competition was no fluke, Paris & Simo continue to show that they are worthy of the praise they receive.

Hip-Hop | Wiz Khalifa – Work Hard, Play Hard

Posted by on April 23, 2012

This song is bomb in so many ways that you just have to purchase it. After his Allderdice mixtape, Wiz gives us this brand new cut from his album, which is due out in August. Wiz goes hard on this one, like B.A.R./Kush & OJ hard, and this beat isn’t lacking either, produced by Benny Blanco and StarGate. Throw this on the weekend playlist and get ready to hear it on the radio, a lot.

Electro | Tiesto – Work Hard, Play Hard (FiveNorth Remix)

Posted by on September 14, 2011

Tired of listening to Work Hard, Play Hard remixes yet? Cool, me neither. Five North completely redoes the beat on his remix yet seems to leave the perfect amount of the original sounds intact. Lend this one an ear, I don’t think you will be disappointed.
