Is there anyone that Clinton Sparks hasn’t worked with in the realm of killer pop and urban music? The Grammy-nominated producer, mixtape master, and DJ has already been able to add names such as Kanye West, Beyoncé, Pharrell, Ludacris, Fall Out Boy, Puff Daddy and Trey Songz to his packed resume.The only thing left to check off is for the critically lauded pioneer to go solo, which he’s already got in the bag: Sparks is releasing the EP ICONoclast next month, which will showcase his wildly diverse range of influences and include collaborations from A-listers like 2 Chainz, Macklemore, Snoop Dogg, and T-Pain. FreshNewTracks.com is excited to share the video for the EP’s second single, “UV Love feat. T.I.” The tune will get you in the mood to move with its terse, angst-filled momentum. Kaytranada has taken huge steps in the music industry as of recently so it’s not that surprising that he’s taking another step into that of Pharrell Williams. For Pharrell already being his own powerhouse, Kay did a excellent job of fitting his shoes. This Eiditon of “Happy” is very Kaytranada but still holds all the essences of the original song.

The “Happy” remixes are coming and they are coming quickly, but thankfully Sevag lent his talents to the tune. The original is catchy and happy enough to make a man cry, but Sevag gives you a change of pace from what you have been hearing constantly on the radio, TV and elsewhere. He adds some tasteful, bouncy big room with booming synths and well crafted builds. It has already been supported by Nicky Romero, Promise Land and Matisse & Sadko, so you know something is there. Upcoming, Sevag has a tune with Henrix “Latina” that was premiered by Dannic on his radio show that you will want to stay tuned for.

One of my favorite producers straight from the South of France, EFIX, just released his deep house remix of Pharell William’s “Happy” with the help of Allison on the vocals, and Maelle Desbrosses on the violin. At the sound of this rendition, happiness is a long, peaceful stroll, comparable to a Sunday bike ride through out old country roads, and that’s all G by me!
