Hip-Hop | Mac Miller – Day One: A Song About Nothing

Posted by on June 9, 2012

Mac tweeted out this self-produced track early this morning. Not too shabby in my opinion production wise and lyrically. He gets into a bit of his sippin syrup talk, but other than that the flow is nice. Much better than that Onaroll track he dropped a few days back.

Hip-Hop | Mac Miller x Pharrell – Onaroll

She get good grades she suck a d*** what more can you ask for?” -Mac Miller, folks.

While excitement has been considerabe for Mac’s upcoming “Pink Slime” mixtape, the first release “Onaroll” featuring Pharrell is nothing short of horrific. I’ll admit up front that I’m not sold on the kid. There’s just nothing about his regurgitated “weed and snapbacks” message that relatively impresses me, this new effort being no exception. Mac, I know what we can ask for: How about we get off the white lady, clean our act up, and switch up the I-need-more-nasal-spray regurgitated subject matter? Sound good?

Dubstep, Hip-Hop | Mac Miller – I Bring The Soul & He Brings The Funk || Smoke & Drank || Flashing Lights

Posted by on April 13, 2012

A few new tracks featuring Mac Miller have dropped this week. The first one being “I Bring The Soul & He Brings The Funk” off De la Soul member DJ Maseo’s upcoming project, DJ Conductor. Mac drops funky flows throughout the entire track as Maseo produces the soul. Up next is a song that will be featured on French Montana’s next mixtape, Coke Boys 3. The duo go in delivering flows about the two things they know best, “Smoke & Drank”. Lastly we have Mac Miller trying his hand at rapping over a dubstep beat. He remixes the popular dubstep production “Flashing Lights” by Chase and Status & SubFocus which featured Takura. These three tracks should hold all you Mac fans over for awhile.

DO SOMETHING

Hip-Hop, Videos | Mac Miller – Thoughts From A Balcony [Music Video]

Mac Miller drops his 2nd video off the Macadelic mixtape, Thoughts From A Balcony. This is definitely one of the stand out songs on the project in my opinion. This video has a different look than most of Mac’s videos because this time it was shot by Justin Boyd, not Rex Arrow. It’s a pretty simple, straight forward video but does the trick! If you haven’t heard Macadelic yet I suggest you grab that here right now!

Hip-Hop, Mixtapes | Mac Miller – Macadelic [Mixtape]

DOWNLOAD: Mac Miller – Macadelic [Mixtape]

The day has finally arrived, Mac Miller’s fourth mixtape installment Macadelic is in our hands after multiple setbacks and datpiff crashing as usual. I’ve just started listening to the tape and I’m liking what I’ve heard so far. Definitely refreshing after Mac Miller’s debut album, Blue Slide Park which in my opinion wasn’t what I was expecting. Not saying I didn’t enjoy some of the songs, but The High Life and K.I.D.S were a different caliber. Mac also linked up with a couple artists I wasn’t expecting, Kedrick Lamar & Lil Wayne. He also released the video to hands down the biggest banger on the project, “Loud” but it looks like YouTube has pulled it for violating the terms of service. I’m sure it will be back up soon. Listen to this mixtape and get Macadelic in the meantime!

Hip-Hop | Mac Miller ft. Diggy – Definition Of Cool

Posted by on March 4, 2012

Mac releases his second track this week, Definition Of Cool. Diggy Simmons joins him on this one. Not a huge Diggy fan but I’m sure many people will love it. The Macadelic Tour starts of this month, you can check the dates and grab tickets here.

Mac Miller – Loud by freshnewtracks

Mac Miller dropped the first release off his upcoming mixtape, Macadellic. There was footage of him performing this in Pennsylvania and now he’s released the full song after it trended on twitter. This track is definitely a banger!! I can wait to see what the whole project will have in store, Most Dope!
