British progressive house talent, Michael Woods has been quite busy lately, putting out plenty of remixes and originals, all the while commanding an impressive label at Diffused. Michael Woods uses the unique vocals provided by Marina & The Diamonds with soft chords to build into a drop of an uplifting synth melody, a growling under layer, thumping bass line and vocals to bring along the synth melody. Michael Woods is very consistent at making great, heavily supported tracks and this one is yet another to toss in the mix.

Michael Woods has been doing edits of tracks for his label for quite some time, taking very good tracks and making them great, pushing all the right buttons and making his edits seem like what the original should have sounded like. His edit of Belgian Siege and Sem Thomasson is no different from that trend with a progressive build and a drop with tech influences to go along with the fast moving synth melody, giving us this outstanding production.

DJ-Set, Preview, Progressive House | Hardwell & Dannic – Kontiki (Teaser), Pierce Fulton March Mix

Of the tracks Hardwell debuted at Sensation White Copenhagen back in October, Kontiki was the one I was looking forward to the most. Spaceman was getting the earliest release, but my mind was always set on Kontiki and I thing with this teaser you can see why. It is always a treat to get a mix from Pierce Fulton and this March Mix is no different. It is a great way to get yourself ready for UMF with a spot on mixture of groovy, relaxing tracks and upbeat electro and progressive jams, including some exclusive edits from Pierce Fulton. Electro-House, Progressive House, Trance | Hard Rock Sofa – Quasar Preview, Arty Essential Mix

I hope you all are as excited for “Quasar” as I am because the song is bigger than most. Arty premiered last night his first essential mix, masterfully weaving together a 2 hour mix of his own songs and songs of others to create a 2 hour ride of melodic, uplifting trance and house. Arty needs no introduction, but Pete Tong in his announced that Arty has forthcoming collaborations with Knife Party and Axwell, which should create some absolutely massive songs. Arty plays a few of his upcoming tracks including the much anticipated “Trio” with Matisse & Sadko, his “Walking Alone” remix, set to release on the 15th, a massive remix from fellow Russians Matisse & Sadko and some mashups he plays out to create this 2 hour journey of euphoria with Arty. House, Mashups | Middy’s Mashups

I have a treat for you guys with some awesome bootlegs that are all must haves. I have the latest edition of KMM or Kaskade Mashup Mondays, which mashes the Dada Life Remix of Kaskade’s “Dynasty” with Dada Life’s “White Noise/Red Meat”. The drop gets a different feel and is slightly heavier, giving it a refreshing new sound.
