Michael Brun treated us with an early release of his remix of Childish Gambino’s “Heartbeat” because his remix of Neon Trees’ “Animal” had to be delayed until next week. This song keeps much of the relaxed vibe from the original keeping Childish Gambino’s vocals, while adding underneath a low distorted synth and a some chunky synths to the chorus. The rest of the remix package for “Heartbeat” releases February 14th. Check back soon for his “Animal” remix.

Michael Brun is ready for a huge 2012; coming off of a successful 2011 with the incredibly successful single “Dawn”, that was championed by Hardwell (He did an edit of it) and supported by many other big time Djs. Previewing this remix of the hit single “Animal” from Neon Trees, Michael Brun will be giving this amazing remix out for free on February 1st; a week from today as a token of gratitude for all the support he has been getting. Using the vocal sample perfectly, this remix takes this song to a whole new level with an array of uplifting synths that are a perfect fit for this song. Also be sure to watch out for another preview of his coming soon in February.

On the holiest of days, we here at FNT are expected to present to you the best in music. Though Michael Brun’s name isn’t quite on that list of the “best”, he is surely a rising star.
