Deep house has been all the rage lately, so it shouldn’t be too surprising that in between heavy festival bangers like “Revolution”, Nervo decided go von deeper with Marco Lys on “Don’t Break My Heart”. As to be expected with any Nervo tune, it has been remixed plenty and in steps American up and comer, a member of Mike Hawkins powerful Megaton Records family, Landis. The opening track of Size label boss Steve Angello’s sets over the past few months, “Ulysses” has the power and dexterity you expect from a release on Size. As the owner of the increasingly influential Megaton Records, Mike Hawkins becomes a bigger name in dance music, and here he teams up with Pablo Oliveros Marcus Schossow to create a bouncy bass line and long, riveting melodic builds. The Scandinavian connection is strong here with 2 Danes and 1 Swede on the track.
