Hip-Hop | Futuristic – Next To Blow
Posted by Juicebox on October 8, 2010
“I’m feeling like frosted flakes, cause im f*cking great, you wanna box, then consider me a f*cking crate”
When I found this kid I was hesitant posting his mediocre produced video/song and wondered if his flow could improve to the stature the industry demands these days. A few months later he hit me up again with another video and a few more tracks. If I hadn’t seen the video I wouldn’t have believed it was him; the kids flow, voice, and lyrics are all on a different level from the “Futuristic” we had posted before. Don’t sleep on any of these tracks…
Futuristic – Who Dat Remix — (4 stars)
Futuristic – The Peoples Choice Remix — (4 stars)
Futuristic – Nothin On You Remix — (3.5 stars)
Futuristic – Rock My Chain — (3.5 stars) This song has lots of potential with some better production, still sick

A posted the original when it dropped a few Fridays ago. H.O.P.E and Skeme came out and murdered it with some unbelievable lyrics. I am still scratching my head with some of H.O.P.E’s lines. Just to name a few…
-“I want champagne for my real friends, and real pain for my sham friends”
-“My girls car is nazi, mein kampf, my coupe”
-“I’m 2 bigs, 3 Pacs and 4 stacks, ni**a.”
Bonus:
H.O.P.E. – Street Dreams feat. Chase N. Cashe
H.O.P.E. – Death’s Door

Hip-Hop, Videos | Collin McLoughlin Playing Lolipop x Whatever You Like
Posted by Juicebox on August 15, 2010
I can’t say enough about this guy. A few days ago, I sat down and watched this video. After watching the first video, I went on to listen, for literally hours, every video of his on youtube. I was completely blown away. From my perspective, he has one of the richest voices I’ve ever heard. What I love about Collin’s music is that he incorporates hip-hop lyrics with an acoustic sound. He truly makes it all his own. For more information on Collin, check him out here. Below, I included some additional videos for you to check out.

Here at FNT we are always trying to keep you on the cutting edge and expand your musical horizons. With that goal in mind, I have focused this techno post on trance. This more melodic, and synth-heavy form of music lends itself great to chilling or studying ( or if your like me then it could be the soundtrack to your party). Most of these tracks are lyric-less but that doesn’t stop me and it shouldn’t stop you!
These two are all out trance, no messing around here:
First State featuring Elliot Johns – Surrounds Me
Blue Spectrum – Lightspeed (Original Mix)
Smooth beat coupled with gentle lyrics
Krist Van D feat. Trish – On Tonite (Marsi Remix)
HUGE RIO Track with a smooth piano-synth over his classic reggae lyrics
R.I.O. – Hot Girl (Olav Basoski Remix)
And if your too anxious to wait out the intro:

Uncategorized | Drake Meet J Tarin – Westwood Drake Freestyle Remix
Posted by Juicebox on June 18, 2010
We posted Drake’s freestyle with Tim Westwood about a week ago and despite the fact it wasn’t off the dome, his lyrics still left us impressed as always…Well, 21 year-old producer named J Tarin got a hold of the a capella freestyle and created a beat to go with it. Although the endings a little weak, it’s pretty well done as he even made the moments of silence when Drake forgot his lines mesh well. Make sure you give it a listen.
