Hip-Hop, Rap | Kyle & Keem – Bounce Back

Posted by on April 22, 2014

Admittedly, I slept on this. “Bounce Back” was sent to me a few weeks ago, and although I played it through quite a few times, I never managed to toss it up here for the masses. My snooze has come to an end, and I am excited to see how people respond to the stylings of Kyle, Keem, and Mr. Fantastic.

The song is production-heavy and features an instrumental backdrop that could easily be heard in a club or at a party. The difference is that Kyle and Keem both manage to come correct with some serious bars. Justin Clough did his thing per usual on the visuals, so be sure to give it a look and listen!

Abstract Hip-Hop | Vulkan The Krusader – Echo Chamber (Prod. by Yakamoto Kotzuga)

NYC via FLA emcee Vulkan The Krusader has been locked away in his studio hard at work for the past year. The spoils are set to drop on Feb 14th, Valentines day in the form of VX13, featuring a 13 original joints that range from future boom bap to dream-wave chill, with collabs from Sean Price, Kyle Rapps and Spaceman and more.

Vulkan tells me that “Echo Chamber” was written from the perspective of a love struck homicidal maniac whom he read about in a newspaper article. Ranging from purposefully slightly off key vocals to his on-point, punchy delivery, this track serves as nice cross-section of his talents, but there is so much more, stay tuned.

Hip-Hop | G-Eazy – Last Night feat. KYLE & Devon Baldwin

Posted by on January 29, 2014

G-Eazy has been dropping singles and videos left and right like it’s h-o-t. Building up to his release of his next project, These Things Happen, we’ve already seen (and heard) some great stuff, like “Far Alone” feat Jay Ant, “Tumblr Girls” feat. Christoph Andersson, which is so reminiscent of that pretty girl typology G-Eazy nails down every time (see: “Waspy”) and my personal favorite, the perfectly produced video for “Almost Famous.” But out of all his recent releases, I chose to highlight “Last Night” because I think it’s the most jam-packed with that good good. Opening with a great feature from fellow up-and-comer Kyle, followed by some of the most angelic vocals we’ve heard from Devon Baldwin to date, and  topped off with contagious catch-phrases such as “Last night was a movie.”

G-Eazy in a nutshell. Catch him on tour here.

Albums, Hip-Hop | KYLE – Beautiful Loser (Album)

Posted by on August 12, 2013

Often times when I post an artist’s music, it is the last we see of them. They could be a one hit wonder, not release anything else worthy of posting, or a million other things. KYLE’s presence on Fresh New Tracks has been anything but infrequent. He appears often, and he always brings the heat. Last week, the man released his first ever album, and let me tell you, it’s phenomenal. I’ve been a fan of KYLE’s music since the beginning of last summer, and I knew this 20 year old would be doing big things within a year. And he proved me right. KYLE is on the edge of blowing up, so hop on the bandwagon now before it explodes. Stream the album in its entirety below, and buy it on iTunes by clicking the link in the Soundloud widget, or here.

Hip-Hop, Rap | KYLE – Raining Love (Prod. Bedrock)

Posted by on August 1, 2013

Absolutely fabulous, radio ready single released by FNT favorite, KYLE. This song will be huge, amassing over ten thousand views over a few hours. I would suggest reading taking the trip over to KYLE’s soundcloud and checking out the note he included with the release of this song. He sums it up better than I ever could. This could be the song of the summer #FACT. Download it below, buy it on iTunes and be on the lookout for Beautiful Loser dropping on Monday. Super shoutout to the man Nolan for the terrific artwork seen in the soundcloud widget below.

Hip-Hop, Videos | KYLE – BANG ft. Mr. Man

Posted by on July 4, 2013

I know it’s late, but it’s too good not to post. Kyle latest video features great production and solid visuals. I think the beat, crafted by Tomas Barfod, could easily function as a stand alone trap song, but with Kyle rapping over it, it makes it an even better piece of music. Mr. Man, who’s featuring on the track, holds his own, which is difficult to do on a song with Kyle. Kyle has been on fire lately, so hop on the bandwagon now before all your friends do. Check out the video above, download in the description, have a great Independence day, and Love Kyle.

kyle bang

If you’re a follower of Fresh New Tracks, the name “KYLE” shouldn’t be a new one to your ears. This young man has gotten quite the recognition from our blog, all of which is rightfully deserved. Easily recognizable by his speedy-rythmic flow, Kyle reels you in with his sound and keeps you hooked with his content.

“BANG” is, well, a bang-er. KYLE says it’s his “favorite song to perform” and gives that necessary spark to the crowd every time he gets on stage. So, if you need a jam to help you live it up these last few hours of the weekend, here you have it. Enjoy!
