Yep, Kap Slap has graced us with the holy grail, the Margot Robbie (Wolf of Wall Street), the Catalina Wine Mixer of mixes; The Spring Break Mix! The hype all began back in 2012 when Kap Slap released the original Spring Break Mix, which scholars and government officials across the globe are referring to as “the best mix ever.” Unfortunately SoundCloud deleted Kap Slap’s old SoundCloud, but you can still download the original 2012 SB Mix on his Facebook or check it out here. Whether you need something to pump you up in the gym or keep the party going down in Cancun, Kap Slap has you covered with this years Spring Break Mix. SnowGlobe was one for the books, there is no doubt about that. As expected, Tiesto crushed the first night, Kaskade did his thing the second, and Cut Copy brought in the New Year with a vibrant live set. What was unexpected was what happened when Kap Slap took the stage. His set was on the second stage, earlier in the night (5:15 PM), and was competing with the legendary hip hop group Zion I on the main stage. Regardless of the circumstances, come 5:45 PM, the Sierra tent was at capacity with every festival goer dancing their hearts out. Kap Slap kept the entire tent jumping, dancing, & singing for an entire hour and fifteen minutes. The highlight of his set was when he debuted his first original production which left the crowd with their hands in the air and ears asking for more. The transitions were flawless, his stage energy was unmatched, and he closed out his performance with one of his signature stage dives.
