Them Jersey boys I.O.U. are back with a new single “I Refuse” sampling the Temptations and the dance classic “Zombie Nation” and though they haven’t made any official announcements, I have a feeling a project is in the works, it’s been too long that we’ve gotten a mixtape from the Rutgers boys. They’ve been working though that’s for sure, peep the official remix of Ayah Marar’s Beg Borrow Steal done by Izee (1/2 of the duo, Buck‘s the other guy), and make sure you listen and get this free download! The hip-hop duo from Rutgers University, I.O.U., had sent over their track “Worth It” a couples weeks back, and I never got a chance to post it. Well just in luck, the guys just sent over the video for their new record “Take A Walk” where they sample Passion Pit’s “Take A Walk,” and this might be one of my favorite records from these cats. They delivered on this Felix Wei production with top notch verses from Buck and Izee, and a hook that doesn’t play around. I’m also a fan of this video. The boys were recently out in LA and they took the opportunity to shoot these awesome visuals with director Babylon Jean. Bravo fellas! Keep up the great work! This is a must listen and a must download!
