I’m just going to call this right now, Dotcom will have a huge year this year. He’s got his first official EP dropping sometime this summer, he’s got a few rumored collabs coming up, and he’s consistently putting out Beatport Dubstep top 10 worthy tracks. For you hip-hop heads, Dotcom gives you a full minute of the original track and then just slaps you in the face with an edit that would make baby Jesus smile. Above are the visuals to the Choppa Choppa Down Remix. I’ve got to be honest, I’m not wild about this track – it lacks the catchy quality that most Rick Ross and Khalifa songs possess (especially their most recent mainstream projects). However, I rarely pass on the visuals to these artists tracks. Rick Ross doesn’t do much for me here (especially since he needs to upgrade his Florida house already in light of his massive success over the last year) but Khalifa seems to save the day here. I’ve thrown in some other HIp-Hop tracks below that Cstan missed (or most likely skipped) but since they include names like Meek Mill and Gorilla Zoe, I had to post them up.

So Saturday night I’m just about to steam out of NYC in the FNT mobile and I get a text from Kinetics saying he’s in the studio (mind you its 11) with none other than our other affiliated artist Loggy. Of course it was too late for me to make moves but I was excited that our guys were linking up. I figured they must have hit it off pretty well to be wasting away such party time and from the looks of the video above, they did. Mark my words, this is going to be a big track. When I see features from Rick Ross and Twista on tracks in our inbox, I become starry eyed. Those two never let me down. However, I was slightly skeptical about this previously unbeknownst group of R&B singers who bear most the weight of this track. Fortunately, their talents compliment the other two quite well leaving us with a pretty dope track. For more information check out their Facebook Page and follow them on Twitter. What the music industry has been missing is an R&B group that can perform, sing, and bring good music and excitement back to the groups of yesteryear. R&B group Brutha is here to pick up where Jodeci, Boys II Men, and New Edition left off. After having a hit reality show on BET and the release of their self titled debut album in 2008, Brutha experimented with several sounds which resulted in the recording of their sophomore album Vacancy which features [artists like] R. Kelly, Twista, and Rick Ross… Check out the 2nd single off the Vacancy album titled “High is Coming Down” featured by Rick Ross and Twista.

Ok so I think I’m finally starting to get it. Whenever a struggling rap artist wants to inject his promo with steroids he cruises over to the tattoo parlor and gets inked with something that’ll catch some buzz. If I were Gucci I would have done the opposite and swept that last mixtape under the rug because it blew. I couldn’t even put your ears through one of the songs. Looks like Slim Thug may have been trying to stir up the Gucci Mane pot when he tweeted “Check out my new tatt http://twitpic.com/3pskaz” (pictured above). Of course that isn’t him since his arm has been covered for years, but it still caught my attention. Anyone know whose arm this is? In honor of Gucci and Slim Thug, I’ve decided to post some Chamillionaire along with some bonus beats. (Note: wait until you hear Collin’s remix to Pass Out, he kills it)
