This year’s biggest breakout artist, Gryffin, is currently breaking the mold in the music-sphere by magnifying the use of live instrumentation in his performances, alongside a string of releases that continue to redefine the melodic house domain. The Los Angeles-based artist is not only responsible for one of the biggest singles of the year, “Heading Home,” but he’s been able to strengthen his legacy time and time again with every release. Now, after boosting his reputation with his widely-received sophomore single, “Whole Heart” ft. Bipolar Sunshine, Gryffin is now preparing for an eponymous fall tour, sided by a brand new Flight Log 004 that features his recent Diplo & Friends guest mix.

This recent Flight Log once again sets a high bar in Gryffin’s musical treasury, leading into the mix with a ceaseless spread of up-and-coming house artists before taking us into a layout of future bass features.

Put on your dancing shoes and hit the dance floor, because we’ve got one hell of a mix from Gryffin to share with you today. The indie-dance artist whose best known for his stand-out remixes for Tove Lo, Years & Years, amongst others, and his debut original, “Heading Home,” has been in the midst of his debut “Heading Home” tour, and he’s just released the third installment of his Flight Log mix series – the “Spring Equinox” mix – as he is getting ready for the last leg of his tour. NYC-based future star, Gryffin, burst onto the electronic music scene with catchy remixes like Tove Lo’s “Talking Body,” Josef Salvat’s “Open Season,” and Years & Years’ “Desire.” He introduced his Flight Log Mix Series at the end of the summer, and is back with the second episode, Flight Log: 002 – Winter Solstice Mix. Gryffin brings us on a journey of chill vibes and deep sounds with tracks from Hotel Garuda, EDX, Sultan and Shepard, Jerry Folk and more. An unreleased ID gets the honors of closing out the 51-minute melodic mix. On top of being a DJ and producer, Gryffin is also a classically trained pianist and guitarist, and has plans to fuse all of his musical talents together in the form of a live tour starting over NYE. He’ll make his first stop at Lake Tahoe’s SnowGlobe Music Festival, followed by Los Angeles’ The Roxy, and then New York’s Bowery Ballroom. Tickets are on sale here.
