Posted by on March 15, 2013

It is St. Patty’s Day weekend, so go out, wear green and wake up someplace you regret. We start off with the much talked about triple J mix from Madeon that features 39 songs in 30 minutes including the live mix of “The City” this week’s episode of the drop that features a guest mix from Felguk. Next up is this week’s episode of The Drop that features a guest mix from Felguk. Norin & Rad get you ready for Miami with their hour long mix with a mix of tracks from Anjunabeats Volume 10 and other favorites of theirs. Adrien Mezsi provides us with his Mezsed Up podcast that starts out with the brand new DubVision remix of “I Could Be The One” from Nicky Romero & Avicii and has a guest mix from Digital Lab, who is hot on the heals of the release of “Hit It“. After the jump we have mixes from N3AKO, Michael Woods, The Disco Fries, Arty and Gabriel & Dresden.

Compilation, Electro-House | Dada Life’s Musical Freedom

Posted by on March 25, 2012

Musical Freedom released their WMC compilation mixed by Dada Life a few days ago, providing over an hour of electro house mayhem, new and old. Dada Life does an impeccable job mixing this compilation. As I listened I could barely tell the songs changed with flawless transitions from one song to the next. The 70 minutes fly by. There is only one brand new song on the compilation, the above Cazzette remix of Dada Life – Rolling Stone T-Shirt, which is a monster of a track not only in its content but also because Cazzette rarely releases any tracks. The rest of the compilation contains some massive electro house tunes from the likes of Dada Life, Tiesto, Felguk, Nicky Romero, Tommy Trash and many more. It shows the quality of the releases of Musical Freedom of the last year and includes such underrated tracks such as Nom De Strip, Sue Cho & Tjr – My Life and Tonite Only – Haters (Nicky Romero Out Of Space Remix). Dada Life pulls from other labels as well taking in songs such as Dyro’s “Daftastic”, Marco V’s recent release “Analogital” and more. Overall the compilation is not one you want to miss, if nothing else to get your hands on Cazzette’s remix of “Rolling Stone T-Shirt”.

Electro-House, Progressive House | Dirty South & Thomas Gold ft. Kate Elsworth – Eyes Wide Open (Remixes)

Posted by on March 7, 2012

Dirty South’s label “Phazing Records” has released the remix package of his huge single with Thomas Gold and Kate Elsworth “Eyes Wide Open”. Lenno, the young Finnish Dj that Pierce Fulton mentioned would be a guy to watch out for, provides a remix with much of the original melody, while adding a funky, groovy touch to the song that gives it a different vibe and a refreshing change of pace. Felguk sticks to their electro house signature, throwing some heavy electro synths into the drop, while maintaining much of the uplifting melody of the original track. After the jump I included Dirty South’s March mix and the tracklist.
