Hip-Hop, Mixtapes, Rap | EaSWay – les bourgeois (Mixtape)

Posted by on May 23, 2015

EaSWay’s new project, Les Bourgeois, is a commentary on the mislead priorities and insignificant desires of a lost generation. EaSWay raps about the good, the bad and the tempting throughout this mixtape and he is never too righteous to deem himself above the rest of his generation. The tape is a mix of songs about love, sex, money, and fame and as standard as that might sound, it is delivered in a way that brings new light on the subjects.

EaSWay, the young talent out of LA, continues to drop more good vibes– a similar vibe to Skizzy Mars. The trance like production on this track makes it slow and vibey, a great slow jam with a purple feel, a la A$AP Rocky. Not to mention the dope artwork that comes with every one of his singles. Anyways, EaSWay’s flow throughout the verses continues to impress us all. Give this track a listen, throw it on your playlist, and light one up to this. Enjoy.

EaSWay is back to his old ways with his new track Sway produced by The Chainsmokers. EaSWay goes in over a sample of Sway by Anna of the North with a mixture of singing and rapping, which is the direction he seems to be moving towards as of late. This track is definitely a banger and we’re stoked that EaSWay’s finally coming back with more fiery material. EaSWay is part of the new generation of artists like G-Eazy and Skizzy Mars who are expanding their musical knowledge and crossing cultural boundaries through their beats and lyrics. The future is looking bright for all EaSWay fans and music lovers alike.

baby art final

Kaytranada’s remix of MNEK’s Wrote A Song About You was awesome to begin with, but it sounds surprisingly good with rap vocals over it. EaSWay, a young and upcoming rapper out of LA, flows into the beat like he was put on the original song. Enjoy some Skizzy Mars-escque vibes, and be on the lookout for EaSWay.

Hip-Hop, Rap | FNT Exclusive Premiere: EaSWay – Stay With Me

After taking a 2-month sabbatical from music, EaSWay is back with his new track “Stay With Me”, which features production from Rainer & Grimm and a very popular Sam Smith sample. The driving synth keep the song upbeat, while the lyrics remind all of us a more somber moments in our night when we wish we could stop time and allow a moment to be forever. The bridge, “I’m not good for a one night stand, but I’m sure I could be your man” is something that most of us can relate to. Don Draper once said that nostalgia is, “a twinge in your heart far more powerful than memory alone” and that it is what gives us the aching desire to return to a certain moment we are inherently fond of. Listen to the track and get ready for an infectious feeling nostalgia. Just don’t text your ex mid-song.

Hip-Hop, Rap | EaSWay – Younger (prod. Kygo)

Posted by on May 8, 2014

Young college rapper EaSWay just dropped his amazing new single, “Younger.” “Younger” is a song that embodies what music is about. Music should be about memories and moments, not social norms and unrealistic shadows of societal standards that continue to plague and linger over the music and entertainment world as a whole. “Younger” transcends time and it can take you back to a certain memory or place in time and it can also make you think of and hope for a positive future. With underlying lyrics reminding everyone to take advantage of every moment in life and encouraging people not to take their time on this earth for granted, Younger is a piece that reminds us what life is really all about.
