News | Hardwell Joins Armin Van Buuren As First DJs To Receive Action Figure Ahead of His Record-Breaking Mumbai Show
Posted by Juicebox on November 20, 2015
You know dance music has come a long way when some of the genre’s top artists are immortalized alongside some of music’s most legendary artists, like Elvis Presley, KISS, The Beatles, and Michael Jackson. Hardwell and Armin van Buuren are two of the biggest dance artists in the world, but they’re parlaying their success into mainstream appeal with their own personalized action figures. The “Off the Hook” collaborators become the first DJs to receive their own action figures, which you can get here. In addition, Hardwell is gearing up for the biggest show of his career in Mumbai on December 19th, when he will be playing a free show to 100,000 lucky fans who were able to register for a spot on the Dutch titan’s personal guest list. The 100,000 mark would be a new Guinness World Record for world’s biggest guest list – another accomplishment for the Revealed Recordings don – as he is celebrating the launch of his United We Are Foundation, which is looking to educate India’s impoverished youth. You can find more information on the World’s Biggest Guest List show and pledge to the cause here.

House | EDX Releases “Revered” and “Want You (Then I Found You)” From His Arsenal of House Hits
Posted by Tay on November 3, 2015
When you’ve been around the scene for as long as EDX has, you pick up a few tricks here and there that help you streamline your entire workflow. For the Swiss dance authority, that means his already-strong ear for production is only getting better, making it easier than ever for him to deliver quality house productions. Take a look at EDX’s releases from 2015 and you’ll see that he’s hit on nearly all of them across the board – “Remember House” to kick off the year, “Belong” and his “Indian Summer” remix of Sam Feldt’s “Show Me Love” over the summer, and to close out the year strong, EDX has released two massive tracks from his arsenal, “Revered” and “Want You (Then I Found You).” The former is a tech house masterpiece with thumping synths and a smooth vocal topline, while the latter features BB Diamond delivering her iconic croons over a deep house anthem. On top of his rigorous release schedule, EDX will be taking over Create Nightclub in Los Angeles this weekend and Ruby Skye in San Francisco in December for two special nights of his NoXcuses parties that you don’t want to miss.

For its second year, Electric Paradise has expanded greatly, now including art, food, design, and technology and a multi-stage experience to perfect the festival’s presence in Punta Cana. Reggaefusion duo Major Lazer, funk-master Chromeo, synth-melting Porter Robinson, and house guru Steve Angello top this year’s first phase of the lineup announcement for the biggest festival in the Caribbean. These names alone carry enough weight in dance music to be worth the trip alone, but the lineup doesn’t end there. Gorgon City, AlunaGeorge, Cashmere Cat, Cash Cash, Hot Since 82, Moon Boots, and Matthew Johnson add to the talent that will grace the island this upcoming December. Electric Paradise tickets are available through the official website.

Who says festival season is coming to an end? With Halloween right around the corner, and more festivals on the way, it’s clear that what we knew as festival season is becoming a year-round tradition. Electric Paradise is one of those festivals that is happening well outside of the typical summer season, but that’s not stopping them. While a large amount of the world is cold in December, the Dominican Republic enjoys warm tropical weather, which is perfect for some dance music-driven revelry, especially when the festival venue is on a beach. With 20+ world-class electronic music artists, including both DJs and live acts, Electric Paradise is seemingly living up to its name, and it’s sure to prove itself further in its second year, as it brings together music, art, food, design, technology, story-telling and paradise. Future House | Classy Vibes Drop Tchami Supported “Poezia”
Posted by BIGLIFE on January 18, 2015
Featured on Oliver Heldens latest “Heldeep Radio 33” Classy Vibes make their FreshNewTracks.com premiere with a future house original that dropped in December. Even though the track isn’t new, it’s a tune that flew under our radar that we hate we missed. I gave it the car test and it sounds incredible. It’s so good that even the king of future house (Tchami) supported the track at a recent Puerto Vallarta show. The only thing wrong about this track is that it doesn’t have a buy link. Big tune!
