Chiddy Bang just dropped the first single off their debut album, Breakfast, which has yet to get a release date. The track samples the soul legend himself. There is actually a funny story about how the guys got their inspiration which you can read about on Rolling Stone. As for the track itself, it doesn’t have the typical electro-pop beat that we’re used to getting from Xaphoon, but the track is dope regardless.

Woah. That guitar riff + J.Cole. Speechless. DJ 21azy adds Mac Miller’s beat from another night and puts J.Cole’s Who Dat over it. New Chiddy Bang and Dean’s List in the same day? I’m just gonna start off by saying that both these tracks are DOPE. The electro-pop productions of both these groups have always been on point, and both MC’s are nothing short of superb. We all know that Chiddy Bang has been absolutely killing it for a while now, but the buzz that Dean’s List has generated within the last year is straight up impressive. It looks like Chiddy Bang and Mac Miller are back at it again. This track has some tags from our favorite song-ruiner, DJ Whoo Kidd, but at least he didn’t rewind the song a minute into it like he always does.

Xaphoon Jones, the production genius behind the sensation known as Chiddy Bang (for those of you living under a rock), just released his second solo mixtape. It includes various remixes, and mashups to some old and new songs. Theres a ton of different influences on here, from electro, to dubstep, to hip-hop.
