Is there anyone that Clinton Sparks hasn’t worked with in the realm of killer pop and urban music? The Grammy-nominated producer, mixtape master, and DJ has already been able to add names such as Kanye West, Beyoncé, Pharrell, Ludacris, Fall Out Boy, Puff Daddy and Trey Songz to his packed resume.The only thing left to check off is for the critically lauded pioneer to go solo, which he’s already got in the bag: Sparks is releasing the EP ICONoclast next month, which will showcase his wildly diverse range of influences and include collaborations from A-listers like 2 Chainz, Macklemore, Snoop Dogg, and T-Pain. FreshNewTracks.com is excited to share the video for the EP’s second single, “UV Love feat. T.I.” The tune will get you in the mood to move with its terse, angst-filled momentum. Chanel West Coast, whom you might recognize from MTV’s Fantasy Factory, is undeniably a grade-A bad bitch. Keeping up with her trending #WestCoastWednesday tradition, she uploaded a free download, this week titled “Own World.” It’s more laidback compared to some of her more recent stuff but I’m digging it: I imagine this as the kind of track to play when driving through the city at sunset with the windows down, feeling empowered, or on the contrary when the night is coming to an end and I’m at the after party with my whole crew kickin’ back before tapping out.
