Rudimental

Rudimental have taken the world by storm. Their single “Feel The Love” rose to the top of the charts in the UK and became a worldwide phenomenon. They have not stopped there with a host of other chart topping singles like “Not Giving In” and “Waiting All Night”. Their live show is about as energetic and “live” as there is in dance music, bringing what they call “a carnival atmosphere” to every festival and city they visit. The foursome have come a long way with their album “Home”, showing their strong UK dance influences, while keeping it soulful and unique on every track.

We had the chance to chat with them after their show with Emili Sandé two weeks ago in Central Park and talk about their incredible music videos, trying to build on their success and what they have coming up, including tracks with The Game and Ed Shereen. Click past the jump for the full interview, but before you do, watch their video for “Right Here”, it is epic. You can grab their now Platinum selling album “Home” on iTunes here. Big congrats to the guys for that!

Events | Size In The Park Expands to 2 Days, Tickets Now On Sale

After a successful, but rainy and quiet debut to Size in the Park last year, Steve Angello’s Size Matters returns to Central Park in New York City for a second year. This time they have expanded from just one day, to almost a two day festival format. No word on the lineup yet, but I would be willing to bet that it would be some people from Size. Just a shot in the dark, not totally sure though.

Going for the outdoor gig in late September is a bold maneuver because it could get pretty cold at night, especially if it is rainy, but bold choices can pay off. More info at the Size In The Park website here. Tickets are on sale now a few days early, though pre-sale tickets sold out in the blink of an eye.

Events | Size In The Park : Size Matters Comes to Central Park

Posted by on August 1, 2012

After a few days of mystery provided by september22nyc.com and its teasing photos (the last one gave it away), it has been revealed that the Size Matters crew will be invading Central Park on September 22 to help you live out the final days of Summer and begin the gloomy, yet colorful change of seasons from Autumn to Winter. Label boss Steve Angello will be joined by Third Party, who will be making their New York debut, as well as AN21 & Max Vangeli & Sunnery James & Ryan Marciano. You will absolutely not want to miss rising stars Third Party, known for their single with Cicada “Feel” in their first show in the Big Apple, Sunnery James & Ryan Marciano’s groovy, funky tech & progressive beats and AN21 & Max Vangeli performing hot off their album “People Of The Night”, set to release September 3rd. It goes without saying that Steve Angello will be great and the scenery of Central Park will be an incredible venue to host this fantastic occasion of house music. Presale tickets are already on sale, so get them below before the general sale on Friday at 12pm EST. More info at http://www.sizeinthepark.com/ UPDATE: The Event is SOLD OUT. Hope you got your tickets because this is going to be a good one.
