The 2o year old producer Thomas Jack is at it again with “Booka Shake.” Thomas decided to go deep-house with this one, different than the track that put him on the map,”Final Speech,” and I’m not mad at him. I’m feeling the Eminem “Shake That Ass” vocals, and I hear influences from the legendary German duo, Booka Shade, thus the title “Booka Shake.” This track is bumping, hear it for yourself. This is one of those collaborations that immediately grabs your attention and it does not disappoint. When you are listening to a Fedde Le Grand song you know you are getting a track with some of best production in the industry and with rising stars Deniz Koyu & Johan Wedel adding their influences to the track, it is going to be big. This song is meant to be played live with quick moving percussive elements, emotive progressive synths and a massive drop that will send any crowd into a frenzy. The video shows them collaborating on the track, the first play of the track and the crowd reaction, and for you Djs you see Fedde Le Grand’s amazing looking studio. Also after the jump are Sander van Doorn and Mark Knight’s sets from Sensation Belgium, which for those who went was an unreal experience and with it coming to America in October, this iconic event will only grow its legendary status. The sets from Afrojack & Dada Life were not recorded.

Events | Identity Festival [Hollywood] Review

With a last minute venue change, a decent lineup, and the most anticipated stop of Identity the following day…Identity Hollywood still managed to deliver. Despite it’s traditional use of indoor performances, The Palladium actually worked extremely well by turning the back parking lot into massive outdoor arena.
