Here is the last leak off Azad Right’s upcoming mixtape, The Time is Right. I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again; in a world of rappers that can’t relate to normal people, Azad is breath of fresh air. If today’s J. Cole post left you a little underwhelmed than this may be your fix. The Time is Right next Wednesday, 9/21.

After a bit of a wait Azad Right has come through with some visuals for his Spinner’s sampled track, I’ll Be Around, which is the first single off his upcoming mixtape The Time Is Right. Shot in Venice Beach, the video has a laid back summer feel to it, which seems to be popular with a lot of artists this year. A few months ago we introduced you to the upcoming artist Azad Right. With some very lyrically deep songs like Spiderwebs, I think the kid knack for appealing to the masses. Below is the first single off his upcoming mixtape The Time Is Right which is expected to drop in September. The beat, which was produced by Jonathan Marquez, goes old-school and samples an old Spinner’s track.

Azad Right is definitely something new to the game. This video above was a breathe of fresh air. The track itself is about relationships and the raw emotion translates well in the video. In a time where lyrical content seems to be slipping away from the priorities of most artists, Azad stays true to hip-hop’s roots. When asked about what sets him apart from the rest he had this to say…
My story is something that people should know about. Hip-Hop culture has grown so much and I’m living proof. Ten years ago, an Iranian-American rapper was an impossible career choice. In 2011, I plan to make it my reality.
