Progressive House | KSHMR Shows Off His Global Influences on Latest Track, “JAMMU”
Posted by Tay on June 16, 2015
Niles Hollowell-Dhar has nearly done it all as a musician. After making his debut as the front man of the indie dance group, The Cataracs, Hollowell-Dhar branched off and embarked on a solo electronic career under the moniker, KSHMR. Since the inception of his new identity, KSHMR has managed an unprecedented rise in popularity, thanks to collaborations with stars like Dillon Francis and Tiesto, the latter of whom delivered this spring’s anthem in “Secrets.” Now, KSHMR has unveiled his latest solo output, “JAMMU,” a track that clearly draws from his Indian inspirations. “JAMMU” is a chance for KSHMR to show off his raw production ability, as he blends big room sounds with South Asian inspired instrumentation and vocals, coming together to create a progressive anthem that will surely make the rounds this summer. “JAMMU” is out now via Beatport.
Progressive House | Cazzette Sets It Off With “Together,” A Little Bit Of Deep, A Little Bit Of Progressive

The Swedish duo Cazzette blew up thanks to Spotify, and they’re doing it again with the exclusive release of their single “Together,” a display of what progressive sounds like in 2015, and in my opinion it sounds a lot like Future Pop, reminiscent of Yellow Claw’s latest release “Run Away,” a little bit of deep, some progressive, a pop bounce to it, I’m with it! To be honest it’s cool with me, at the end of the day, it’s MUSIC. Stream it, it’s a must!

PANG!’s “Touch” is probably one of my top 20 tracks of this year, and today they release the video for their progressive, Christina Aguilera sampled ditty. If you don’t hear the sample, go listen to “What A Girl Wants,” and you’ll hear it “can’t look but I never touch…,” yeah yeah you know it. Going artistic to match their sound, with their visuals, press play, and give this track a listen, and this music video a watch, it’s a must!
Progressive House | The Chainsmokers Come Through With “Good Intentions”

Yup, the Chainsmokers and BullySongs have a hit on their hands, and “Good Intentions” is it! My first reaction when hearing the tune, was this sounds like Calvin Harris, meets the Ataris – think Boys Of Summer – and I’ll take it! I thoroughly enjoy both, and with Memorial Day weekend just a day away, what screams “America” more than a good old Made In America anthem? Thanks Alex and Drew, keep repping for us all! This is a must listen!
Progressive House | Steve James’ Remix Of The Chainsmokers Will “Let You Go” Right Into Festival Season
Posted by Juicebox on May 18, 2015
The summer season is here, and it has yet another anthem candidate on its hands. This time it comes from Pittsburgh, from a young man by the name of Steve James. You may have heard of him; his ZHU “Faded” remix has amassed over a million plays, his Ellie Goulding “Beating Heart” remix has been played on Tiësto’s Club Life, and his free downloads have spread like wild fire. His new gem is a remix for The Chainsmokers’, “Let You Go.”
The original was by no means a slouch, but this young producer has imparted some of his youth upon the track, making for a notably livelier vibe. Really we wouldn’t doubt if this thing starts making the rounds on festival stages and summer mixes around the world. It doesn’t hurt that it’s a freebie. Grab it below, and as always support it with some heart action on Hype Machine!
Progressive House | What big artist is behind the side project “Cignature” ?

Who is X_______? We’ve seen a lot of people guessing that it’s Audien, but that wouldn’t make much sense as it’s basically the same progressive house style Audien produces. Not to be punny here, but this remix has a very feel good vibe and is just ‘fun’ to listen to. What we do know, is that this is the only remix on the internet with the official studio acapella and this remix is too good to be any other artist’s first release…any guesses?
