House | The Magician’s “Magic Tape 72” Brings All The Feels
Posted by BIGLIFE on June 21, 2017

Last weekend, we had the opportunity to catch The Magician at CREATE. We’ve tried (for 3 years) to catch the enigmatic producer and DJ live. On Saturday night we had the opportunity to witness his greatness first hand. His monthly “Magic Tape” series has become a staple for every house DJ under the sun to listen to, digest, and include in their own sets. And with good reason. The Magician has arguably carved out the coolest brand in dance music today thanks to collaborators like Bob Jeusette. The Magician’s new “Magic Tape 72” brings the heat with new tracks from Fisher, TCTS, and Calvin Harris. Very few are Shazam-able, and that’s the way he likes it.
Feel the magic.
Progressive House | Dimatik & Tigerlily take you to the ‘Spice Temple’

With the likes of Carnage, Marlo, Vini Vici, Hardwell, Armin Van Buuren and KSHMR already supporting the young Aussie producer, it’s only a matter of time before Dimatik is a festival mainstay. Spice Temple sees him teaming up with fellow Australian producer Tigerlily for an eerie twist on Psy-Trance. Out now on Dimatik’s own Cinematik Recordings.
Fun Fact: Spice Temple is also the name of Sydney’s best Chinese restaurant.
Melodic Progressive, Trance | Marcus Santoro creates a ‘Flashpoint’
Posted by VMan on June 16, 2017
Young Australian-based DJ/producer is a musical prodigy who has already gained respect from headliners including Above & Beyond, Ferry Corsten, Markus Schulz, Paul Van Dyk and many more. His latest conjuring from within his studio is ‘Flashpoint’, and it’s set to be released on Friday June 16th via Enhanced Progressive. The track oozes a real Jeckyll and Hyde vibe throughout, by combining an array of uplifting chords with the melody, before a drop built upon a big bassline takes control!
House | Meet LA’s 13th Zodiac And Their Brand New “Booty Sweat” Single
Posted by BIGLIFE on June 14, 2017
Meet 13th Zodiac. LA’s next big house duo that you need to get to know. We received their brand new “Booty Sweat” single this week from ItsNoRequests and absolutely love it. In fact, we can’t get enough. We’ve been abusing the repeat button on Soundcloud since it released. When asked about the meaning of their brand new “Booty Sweat” single, 13th Zodiac said:
“Booty Sweat is a track that is inspired by a global pandemic club-goers face today. The track itself is driven by a thumpy, yet groovy bass line, and followed by a low pitched voice that cuts through the mix to lock down the groove. It is guaranteed to instill perspiration between moist thighs worldwide.”
Available on all your favorite streaming platforms, “Booty Sweat” is the first release of many from the LA duo dropping this summer. Get invested. Keep an eye. 13th Zodiac is a group on the rise.
House | CID & CeeLo Green Will Make You A “Believer”
Posted by BIGLIFE on June 9, 2017
CID. Unreal producer and DJ. CeeLo Green. Unreal artist and vocalist. They combine forces to deliver an absolute smasher called “Believer” that will have you moving 5 seconds into pressing that play button. CeeLo Green doesn’t always do EDM, but when he does, he does it with CID music. Of the new single, CID said:
“We are living in a time where so many bad things are happening around the world and it’s heartbreaking and discouraging. Despite that I think it’s still important to believe in the power of music. Music can be uplifting even on the darkest days. So especially now, I wanted to release a song that could give people hope and inspire peace and unity.” – CID
A wise choice as we predict “Believer” is going to smash the Spotify charts with its quality production, sunny vibes, and upbeat message. Make sure you use and abuse that play button. We will for weeks to come.
