Electro-House | Audrio – Dreaming Wide Awake
Posted by Middy on September 6, 2013
Our flyer guy to watch this year, Audrio, has sparingly had releases this year, mostly as remixes for other tracks on Avicii’s LE7ELS label. He is now given the floor to showcase his ability on the original front, releasing one of his tracks that when you go to his soundcloud, is titled “We’re Still Here”. The track has his acid-electro fusion with some well placed female vocals that give it a soft touch. We are still waiting for “Humans”….still waiting.

Electro-House | Delta Rae – Bottom Of The River (Live City Remix)
Posted by Middy on August 21, 2013
Its been too long since I have given these guys some love. They have been on a tear lately with house music oracle and long haired John Lennon look-a-like, Tommy Sunshine, producing official remixes for the likes of Mt. Eden, Martin Solveig and Capital Cities. They have been getting more official remix requests lately, but still remain true to form on the free release front and this guy is one of their finer ones to date. Taking full advantage of Delta Rae’s folky vocals, Live City adds a grungy breakdown with churching electro stutters and and a booming bass line. Also included are some of their recent remixes for “Hey Now” and Mt Eden “Sierra Leone”.
Electro-House | Showtek Feat We Are Loud! & Sonny Wilson – Booyah

Showtek are just phenomenal. People think they have just come from nowhere in this electro house game. Well first they were a part of Boys Will Be Boys with Tiesto & Anger Dimmas, and then took on the producing role for Tiesto, which they may or may not have relinquished. Now they are cranking out some of biggest tracks today, and “Booyah” is just the latest. Infusing reggae, rock and dnb into one electro house track, Showtek show once again why they are one step ahead of just about everyone else.
Electro-House | Maddix – Touching the Sky

Usually when I sift through my inbox, it is generic press emails, decent to pretty bad music or a ridiculous email from The Chainsmokers (heart hands), and after a while I just get audio fatigue trying to manage it. However, when I come across something like this, like when I first heard Vicetone, or Stephen Swartz or Moiez, I knew I there was real talent. Dutchman Pablo Rindt or Maddix has been in the producing game now for a few years, mainly doing DJ-ready bootlegs and the occasional remix, but to be honest nothing that noteworthy, until now.
However, coming from that country where electronic music talent is as common as their cloudy days (hence why they flee to the French Riveria in the summer), it is not surprising that he would be able to hone his craft over the past year, culminating in this outstanding original. The track borders along the lines of melodic and electro, blending them together at once, with high-octane breaks and soothing interludes. What makes this even better is that it is free and there is more coming from Maddix. The free download includes the more DJ-friendly original mix. Do yourself the favor and grab it now.

Electro-House | Blasterjaxx – Puzzle, Show Me Remix & Faith

Alright it is time we give you all a proper introduction to one of the hottest duos coming out of, guess it, Holland. You have probably heard of them by now, and if not have almost surely heard their tracks at some point or another, either at a festival or in a live set. The duo have become understudies of Laidback Luke, Hardwell and Tiesto, seeing support from your rank and file big name DJs, with tracks like “Miami”, & “Loud & Proud” being played by DJs all over the world. They released two tracks on Monday and another not 3 weeks ago, which you can all find below. Blasterjaxx have become masters of the big-room, festival sound, but manage to make it so you know it is Blasterjaxx. They have a billion new tracks and collabs on the way, including “Fifteen” on Revealed, “That Big” with Yves V, and many more. These guys are being booked for quality European festivals and are only getting better. Look for more from them and their prodigious production rate in the future.
Electro-House | Mord Fustang – Something Right Meow

I’ve been needing some new Mord Fustang in my life for a while now, and happily enough the music gods decided to deliver today. “Something Right Meow” is textbook Mord — I think we can all agree that no one does kaleidoscopic soundscapes and driving basslines quite like the young Estonian producer. For your own sake, download this one right meow.

Electro-House, Exclusive, Featured | Sebastian Ingrosso & Tommy Trash Feat. John Martin – Reload (Moiez Remix) [FNT Exclusive]

The original has to be one of my favorite tracks from 2012 still being played on the festival circuit, and though to some the vocal might have just have just been a violation of the “if it ain’t broke, don’t fix it” mentality, I think it made a great song, even better. Moiez makes sure to keep the builds largely in tact and takes full advantage of John Martin’s vocals, while flipping the script on the drop, adding his own pounding snares and percussion and mixing in the searing synth chords from the original. This may not fit with all tastes, but I am sure it will be a breath of fresh air to all ears who have heard the original mix many, many times. Stream it below through us exclusively for the next bunch of hours and then the rest of the internet will provide it for you.
