Techno, turned hardstyle turn electro house behemoths, the duo’s impact on dance music cannot be understated. While Maarten Vorwerk helped introduce the hardstyle kick to mainstream dance music with “Epic”, Showtek made it popular with their own brand of hardstyle infused electro house. Henry Fong has done several tunes with each of these two, and now it was time to bring all three DJs on the same track. The track combines elements of reggae, thumping electro house, and quick changes of bpms, making it another unique selection in the three of these producer’s growing, powerful discographies. The track has already barreled its way into the sets and radio shows of Knife Party, Hardwell, Dyro, W&W and Nicky Romero, with plenty more to come after its October 28th release on Spinnin’.

Yup. It’s that time of year again people. Halloween. Brazzabelle is here with her latest remix of Michael Jackson’s ‘Thriller’, the ultimate Halloween classic. There hasn’t been really any true big-room remix of the song yet that has reached the web so she flipped the classic into a haunting, powerful, hard hitting remix that would dominate a big room or festival stage. Hardwell presents the second edition of Talent Revealed, a showcase of some bright new stars set to break through in dance music. The first edition saw a guy named Dyro get his first real opportunity and well we have seen the rest from there. Lush & Simon start things off with their single “Adrenaline” that highlights their powerful big room sounds, giving the EP a melodic side to it versus the heavier cuts from their Dutch peers. Julian Calor adds a gritty electro house original to the EP, while 16 year old Dutchman Row Rocka adds a festival friendly cut “Gate 9”, that fits with the current direction of Revealed Recordings.

Woah. Polish producer Blinders first made his presence known to the dance music community with his official remix of Dirty South & Thomas Gold “Alive”. Blinder’s keeps the melodic nature of the original, but adds a edginess to it, giving it an extra kick and bite. If Axwell believes in this guy, then the smart money would be for you to do so as well.

GTA return to Calvin Harris’ label Fly Eye Records with a band new single “The Crowd”. They have always been ones to stand out, and we see that again with this track. Much like their “f*ck genres” approach, this track embraces moves from electro to trap and everything in between. I wonder how many people have stumbled across GTA’s music after the launch of GTA 5? Probably quite a few.
