Electro-House, Exclusive, Trance | Bastian Salbart – Run! [FNT Premiere]

Posted by on December 4, 2013

HCR230_Bastian Salbart - Run! 600x600 72dpiPolish producer, Bastian Salbart is still quite a fresh face to the industry, but having been snatched up by the reputable trance record label, High Contrast Recordings, you can expect that all to change sooner, rather than later. “Run!”, much like his other productions, treads the line between trance and electro, integrating the best of both worlds, with interesting melodies and hard electro elements. This type of genre-melding dance music is great to see when some artists sometimes get pigeonholed into one category or sound. You can stream the song in full below exclusively here on FNT until it is released on December 9th, via High Contrast Recordings. Early support coming in from a few small names like Armin van Buuren, Sied van Riel and Rank 1. Make sure you follow Bastian as he continues to impress with his unique sound.

Electro-House | MAKJ & Henry Fong – Encore

Posted by on December 2, 2013

MAKJ & Henry Fong - EncoreMAKJ & Henry Fong both had very successful releases on Hysteria Records this summer, “Springen” and “Jump” respectively, so it makes sense for both of them to return to the label that has been so instrumental to the growth of their careers. 2013 has been outstanding for the two of them and it is fitting that they team up on a track. Blaring horns carry over a churning bass line and gritty electro beats, with a vocal that won’t let you keep your hands at your sides. Henry Fong has his remix of “Without You” coming on the 10th and MAKJ has his remix for Nervo’s “Not Taking This No More” coming on Friday, so December is only getting started for them.

Pomo is back with another incredibly original single through HW&W Recordings (HUH WHAT & WHERE). With a slightly retro feel and a smacking bass, if this doesn’t make you want to dance, there might be something wrong with you :p

Electro-House | Thomas Newson – Pallaroid

thomas newson - pollaroid

Consider this a reminder for your Saturday night. Thomas Newson is going to be one of the next big things in dance music with his track “Flute” rocking clubs and the charts and now “Pollaroid”. The internet is buzzing after Hardwell revealed that he ghost produced a top 10 track, though it wasn’t totally clear at what point it was in the top 10, and people were speculating it was this one. My money is on Partysquad & Mitchell Niemeyer “#Pantsdown”, which was in the top 10 very recently, Hardwell’s name was attached to it and the guys have been rumored to use ghost producers.

Electro-House | Tritonal ft. Phoebe Ryan – Now Or Never (Pierce Fulton Remix)

Posted by on November 20, 2013

Tritonal - Now Or Never feat. Phoebe Ryan (Pierce Fulton Remix)

Tritonal have called upon fellow red white and blue banner man, Pierce Fulton to remix their recent track “Now Or Never”. The American producer keeps the simplistic beauty of the original, highlighting the vocals from Phoebe Ryan, but balances that with his own gritty, yet funky electro. Pierce has his remix for “Hey Now” coming on Monday for the Dance (Red) compilation, so be sure to grab that then. Don’t sleep on the Tritonal Club Mix, the other part of the package, which is wild.

Electro-House | DubVision – Rifler

DubVision - Rifler

It is always a great day when we have a release from DubVision. They are more known for their more melodic tracks like “Redux” and their remix of “Committed To Sparkle Motion”, but here they show, you shouldn’t pigeonhole them into one sound. The track maintains the same melodic stamina that we have seen in the past from the Dutch duo, noticeably seen in the break, however they add an edginess to it with the growling synths that set this apart from other DubVision tracks.

It is great to see these two evolve their sound and branch out from their melodic style that they had become so adept at, but some aspects were growing a little repetitive.
