NGHTMRE just dropped a heavy remix of Lookas’ “Loko” and it’s one of their best remixes in my book! You can tell the guys are getting used to these festival appearances, because their music is now geared towards building up that energy from the crowd. This one has a DJ Snake flavor to it, meets Dillon Francis, and I don’t know about ya’ll, but that’s what I call top notch production! This is for sure a must listen and a must download!

Tommy Trash’s new single, formerly known as Mad Max, “HEX” with Wax Motif of all people is now out via Nicky Romero’s Protocol Recordings. One of his long awaited tracks, he brings on fellow Aussie and trashed tour teammate Wax Motif for the collab that has all of the hallmarks of a classic Trashman tune. Who knows how long ago he made this, but that gritty, rolling bass line that was his calling card is back and I love it. It sounds different enough to be fresh, but stays true to what he has been over the years.

When I first saw the name I thought it would be a tribute song to the man, the myth, the legend, Derek Jeter, but the LA based duo let me down on that point. They redeemed themselves with the actual content of the tune that brings together an interesting mix of blues and rock with gritty electro bursts. Stream the tune below and expect more from the Hardwell remix competition winners, turned official remixers and original production signees.

Alesso’s “Tear The Roof Up” was one of the most hotly anticipated tunes this summer after being his opening track on and off for close to two years. Now Moiez, who is only picking up steam with his recent releases, goes electro on this one, building his own track around the vocal bit. He keeps some of the original melody, but creates a whole new atmosphere with his own powerful saws that don’t overwhelm with the help of carefully crafted synths. You probably know the Cash Money records signed Stafford Brothers by now and have heard of M35 for their tunes “Revolution 909” and “Go!” alongside MAKJ. Short and to the point, this tune wastes no time getting right the gritty, hard-hitting electro house that M35 has made his mark with. They switch things up a little, moving away from the bass line used in his last two tunes, but still keeping the power found in those. This is a big collab from the three LA based producers.

I legit knew nothing about this record, until I just saw a YouTube ad 5 minutes ago promoting this latest single by Jessie J, Ariana Grande, and Nicki Minaj channeling their inner Mo-Town for “Bang Bang” which reminds me of 2008 Jennifer Hudson, and if you don’t know what I’m talking about, go give that album a listen, it’s a class in my opinion. Back to this record though, low and behold, 5 minutes later, Imanos hits me with a remix he released with Gramercy via Casablancas Records, and it boosts the original for the clubs, and those who like their music harder. No question about it, “Bang Bang” is a hit, and this remix bangs! This is a must listen!

Protocol Recordings, Nicky Romero’s record label, just hit us with a huge electro-house track by that crazy Russian duo who go by the name of Ispolins, and the story behind the record is a story in itself! Having submitted this track as a demo, one half of the group personally flew out to Protocol Recordings studio in hopes of personally handing the track to Nicky, and with luck and persistence on his side, they were able to do just that, even being invited on Protocol Radio to share their story, and music. “Isoplins” is a refreshing synth heavy, drop heavy electro-house record, far away from the gimmick records we’ve been fed these past months! This is a must listen and a must download!
