Electro, House | Yves Larock – Say Yeah (Rivaz Biglife Edit) | Electro/House

Posted by on February 21, 2011

At this point I’ll pretty much take any opportunity to post a Yves track. His house productions are driven by African-influenced vocals that seem to be matched by very few artists, especially nowadays. More producers should be digging into their archives and flipping tracks like these; I may not remember the last guy who remixed Black and Yellow, but I will certainly remember Rivaz from this banger. If you liked my Paradise post from earlier in the week (see: here), you’ll undoubtedly dig this track.

Electro, Hip-Hop | Smokey Robotic – Voices | Electro Hip Hop Band

Posted by on February 20, 2011

Because some of our posts got lost in translation, I’ve decided to repost the visuals brought to us by Smokey Robotic last week. To keep our content fresh, they’ve decided to drop a new track with us. “Outside the Lines” is still my favorite track so be sure to check it out.

Here’s what you may have missed:

What’d I tell everyone last week about this group? That they straight up bring the heat in their own lane. Now I come back to you with some bulletproof confirmation of that statement, just take a look at Lindsay Lohan’s Tweet: “@lindsaylohan: Check out the new Smokey Robotic Video!! Follow them and their Super-Future music!”. Now if that isn’t enough proof then I don’t know what is. Anyways here’s their latest track and official music video for it. I need one of those helmets so I can stop using a bag when I get home from latenight. Those things are smoking!

In order to download the track, visit their website (linked) and hit the “Like” or “Tweet” button underneath the video. Boom piece of cake, guerilla marketing at its finest.

DO SOMETHING

Electro, House | Hardwell, Liam Keegan, Nadia Ali & More | Electro Bangers

Posted by on February 20, 2011

(Note: This post was lost in the transfer so I’m reposting it) Warning this video has absolutely nothing to do with the post aside from being almost as dirty as these tracks. Guys, ever wondered what you look like checking out a girls bum bum? Tune in. I never realized that girls size one another up this much…

These two DJ’s have been pumping out some serious heaters as of late. This Hardwell January release is no exception and neither is Keegan’s take on Gaga’s new track “Born This Way” so give them an ear if you’re looking for a new electro party track.

If Nadia Ali doesn’t ring a bell, it’s time to get familiar. She’s Avicci’s version of Kaskade’s Haley… sort of… Maybe it’d be better to describe her as the Canadian version of Haley. At any rate, she serves as the perfect ingredient for any progressive track sporting vocals.

Electro | The Girls Can Hear Us | Electro Rap

Posted by on February 20, 2011

Last week TGCHU dropped a music video for their song Everyday, which is an absolute banger. For those of you unfamiliar with the group, they’re an electro-rap duo hailing from Canada that has been in the game for quite some time. Although some of the songs below are older, I found it necessary to post some of their best joints because they’ve been severely overlooked. Keep an eye out for their mixtape which will drop as soon as their facebook page gets 7,000 fans, and check out their Soundcloud for more bangers.

Electro, House | A&G, Lucky Date, Pyramidhall | House and Electro

A&G has taken Soundcloud by storm. The young, Miami based duo believe that, “You need to treat house music like sex. Start slow and soft, then work your way up to banging the shit out of it.”

Although I was initially turned off by this statement, I was blown away by their talent. I’m not necessarily a mashup fan–yet their track posted above is straight fire. I mean…with Tiesto and Marco V, where can you go wrong?

Lucky Date’s remix of Zedd’s “Autonomy” helped clean up the track, while also giving it a harder sound.

Tits & Clits, a hungarian electronic/house group comprised of Benjámin Kalászi and Csaba Bernáth, have generated quite the buzz lately (and it’s not just due to their ridiculous name). As artists, their versatility shines. Listen to their remixes of The Count & Sinden’s “Addicted,” and Aufgang’s “Dulceria,” below.

Pyramidhall’s take on Daft Punk’s “Something About Us” incorporates the original track’s groovy sounds and chill feel while also speeding up the melody.
