Dubstep | Kai Wachi Gets Ready For Festivals With “SHUTITDOWN”

Posted by on May 10, 2017

Kai Wachi is undoubtedly one of the best bass music producers you can find. A lot of times I have found that he’s your favorite producer’s favorite producer, as far as trap and dubstep is concerned. Although Kai usually straddles the line between the two, with his latest song “SHUTITDOWN” released on Kannibalen Records is concerned, dub reigns supreme. I don’t know how Kai Wachi manages to make his music even dirtier than before, but somehow he is able to do so while keeping musicality at the forefront of his creations. Lastly, make sure to check Kai’s schedule because he’ll be playing his first festival sets this year!

Dubstep | Rob Gasser Releases On MA Music With “Synthetic Heart EP”

Posted by on May 9, 2017

Rob Gasser’s Synthetic Heart EP, is one of the most creative sounds to come out of MA Music this year. Packed with bass, video-game-music influences, and a variety of genre choices, the solo artist based out of Switzerland picked a solid three tracks to put into his latest EP – “Full Force,” in particular, being a favorite via it’s highly creative rhythmic, melodic sound in the drop and the mid-tempo feel.

Rob Gasser has released on NCS, UKF, and a host of smaller to mid-level labels. He fits well within the melodic bass niche he is in, but showcases many production elements that make him stand out. Rob Gasser is never out of stock when it comes to new music. This EP certainly isn’t the last we have heard from him in 2017.

Dubstep | Chime Follows Up Collaberation Hit “What The Funk” With “Wait For Me”

Posted by on May 9, 2017

Last time, Chime collaborated with some of the hottest names in the melodic bass game with “What The Funk”, a single that capitalizes on the essence of all three artists, Chime, Brig, and Rob Gasser. With “Wait For Me,” Chime works alone, showcasing his rager personality mixed with melodic synth work. The result is classic Chime that we have grown to love mixed with a bit of an updated, 2017 sound.

Chime has been all over the place these past few years, garnering upwards of 800K plays across streaming channels during that time. Chime has been producing since 2011 and has been a part of label families that include Firepower Records, Kinphonic, Most Addictive Records, NoCopyrightSounds and more.

Three of this years rising bass producers have teamed up to bring us an awesome energetic listening experience with their new track “What The Funk.” Brig, Rob Gasser, and Chimes are known for their forward thinking production skills and successful incorporation of hot melodies. The three released the track out on Daily Earfood and quickly became popular with the support of dance music heavyweights. This Dubstep track is an absolute banger in every way, shape, and form.

The track starts off with cheery melodic guitar riffs almost like it comes off a sublime track, but then breaks down into happy bit-crushed melodies that could be compared to those of Zedd. The build up gives us that anticipation of something massive and the boys pulled off a stellar diverse drop. This track features elements unique to each producer and forms a monstrous tune that will have the rail riders going crazy.
