Albums | Charcom & Luisa Wilson Deliver a Dark, Hypnotic Love Affair on “KEEP MY EYES ON YOU”
Posted by VMan on August 6, 2025
Manhattan-born producer Charcom and rising singer-songwriter Luisa Wilson have teamed up to deliver a captivating new single, “KEEP MY EYES ON YOU” — a hypnotic fusion of progressive house, melodic pop, and dark-tech allure. The track marks a bold step forward for both artists, diving deep into emotional intensity while keeping one foot planted firmly on the dance floor.
Originally conceived during Charcom’s time studying abroad in Berlin, the track began as an ambient sonic experiment inspired by the city’s underground house and techno scene. What started as a moody, club-ready instrumental evolved into something far more personal with the addition of Wilson’s evocative vocals. The result? A slow-burning, cinematic journey that feels equally suited for 2 A.M. headphones as it does a shadowy, late-night set.
“This one feels like the most intense thing I’ve put out so far,” Charcom shares. “It’s dark, emotional, and kinda chaotic in the best way. The production has this constant push and pull, and Luisa’s vocals just cut through everything.”

Firstly, the festival moved its grounds over to the affectionately named ‘Festival Hill,’ which allowed for the larger ‘NOS Energy Main Stage’ and a bevy of additional vendors. Additionally, the Trackside Disco Stage (GRIDLIFE Midwest’s silent disco tent) also moved over to Festival Hill, providing shade during the day for track viewing and a larger space for late-night silent disco fun. On Friday night, Levity, Dr. Fresch, OkayJake and Super Future all played surprise sets at the Trackside Disco Stage to continue the energy once the main stage closed for the evening.
Albums | Senior Dunce Drops New Single, “City Centre”
Posted by VMan on July 23, 2025
Korean-born electronic artist Senior Dunce makes a powerful entrance with his new single “City Centre,” a pulse-raising dance cut drenched in emotional depth. Known until now as a sound designer, educator, producer, and former club owner, Senior Dunce takes the spotlight as a solo artist — and proves he has plenty to say, and dance about.
Blending groovy rhythms, fast house textures, and an undercurrent of personal reflection, “City Centre” isn’t just made for the dancefloor — it’s a beat-driven memoir of belonging, memory, and miscommunication. Inspired by his time living in Liverpool, the track traces the emotional terrain of being a foreigner, navigating both cultural and linguistic gaps. A pivotal mispronunciation — “centre” as “centray” — became a moment of connection with his local Scouser friends, a shared laugh that anchored him in unfamiliar territory.
“Those were the days I felt completely lost yet deeply cared for,” Senior Dunce shares. “I couldn’t sleep many nights, overwhelmed by my outsider identity. But my friends helped me feel seen — and that feeling is immortalized in this track.”
Albums | DLG. Leans Inward on “Aperol”
Posted by VMan on July 22, 2025
Just in time for the tail end of summer, DLG. drops “Aperol,” a sweet and sunlit track that captures a once-in-a-lifetime feeling: the electricity of falling for someone new. DLG. has been building a cult following thanks to his genre-blurring style, racking up over 50+ million streams and earning comparisons to indie icons like Mac Miller and Tame Impala.
With “Aperol,” he leans into vulnerability and warmth, recounting a summer romance in New York that would shape the emotional landscape of his debut album. The production is lush, airy, and slightly nostalgic, like a Polaroid fading at the edges. But the emotions feel immediate. DLG.’s voice carries the weight of memory without losing the lightness of that original spark. If “Aperol” is any indication, his debut album is set to be a journey through the beautiful mess of love, loss, and everything in between. Tune in to the new single above now!
