Hip-Hop | Outasight ft. Timeflies – Tonight Is The Night (Remix)
Posted by LoffyG on February 23, 2012
We have the latest Timeflies remix with a video to compliment it. It’s a remixed version of Outasights’ “Tonight Is The Night”. Rez puts his spin on the beat while Cal adds in additional vocals. I recently caught up with Timeflies for an interview while they were in Minnesota. I should be dropping that video sometime tomorrow! Catch the download after the jump!

Hip-Hop | A2Z – Live In The Flesh (Prod. Robbenproject)
Posted by LoffyG on February 23, 2012
Spotted this fresh video shot by Jon Kilmer. The artist’s name is A2Z aka Alec Karageorges from New Hampshire, and hes just 17. The song first caught my attention because of the old school beat, then A2Z dropped some smooth new school lyrics with an old school hip-hop sound. Definitely something you can just kick back and listen to. Hes got his first project dropping in March called True School Vol. 1. If you like what you’re hearing catch A2Z on Facebook & Twitter. Grab the download after the jump.

Hip-Hop, Videos | Yonas – Fall Back [Music Video]
Posted by LoffyG on February 20, 2012
Yonas drops the visuals to “Fall Back” off his debut album, The Proven Theory. This is definitely one of the stand out songs from the album and the video tops it off. If you haven’t checked out his album yet, you can grab it here on iTunes.
Hip-Hop | Slaughterhouse – Monsters In My Head
Posted by LoffyG on February 20, 2012
This song is featured on Crooked I’s upcoming mixtape, Psalm 82:6 which is dropping March 8th. This track is also going to be featured on Slaughterhouses first Shady Record release, Welcome To: Our House. The sound of this record is dope, Game did something similar to this on his Candy Corona mixtape. The only thing that could have made this better is a Shady feature.

Hip-Hop | Def Gone Graphic – Beware [Music Video]
Posted by LoffyG on February 19, 2012
Def Gone Graphic is someone we have never posted before and he’s fairly fresh on the music scene. I saw this guy open up for Timeflies a couple weeks ago and he got a positive response from the crowd. His name’s Matt Smith, a 23 year old rapper from Minnesota who formed Def Gone Graphic back in 2009. This is what he has to say about his group and style:
“My vision was to start a group where I could work with multiple producers, musicians, and DJs in order to explore multiple genres of music, focusing on hip hop and electro/pop or as I like to call it ‘Dance/Grunge,’” said Smith. “I like writing and releasing music and working with as many individuals as possible. The beauty about this project is that I consider everyone who has done anything for it, whether it is a producer, photographer, promoter, a club owner, or just a fan, to be a part of Def Gone Graphic.”
If you like Def Gone Graphic you can catch up with him on Facebook, Twitter or Reverb Nation.
